Well, Saban left for the NFL, not Bama, so that would not be the same thing as leaving for a rival school.

The difference is the transfer portal. If it weren’t possible for Kiffin to try to raid the larder on the way out the door, it’s probably not so bad. Also, did go to LSU, MSU, perhaps Arkansas are the other places that could’ve summoned this much emotion.

Maybe, but I think the big difference is that Tubs was recruited to Auburn by the Yella Fella and it was kept very hush hush.
