The rankings do not matter right now. Games against Alabama, Texas and Tennessee will determine the rankings and playoffs.

If they aren't ranked in the top 5, or if they are ranked lower than Kentucky... Those polls are shite; they don't prove anything... or the rankings don't matter right now.

Currently LSU is 15th. LSU wins out they will beat 2 teams above them giving each 3 losses. That gets to 13th.
Utah plays byu and TTU in big 12 championship game. Likely 2/3 will have 2+ losses.
UGA plays OM.
I’m not 100% sure what happens but I think if UK wins out and OM wins out that yall play but I’d have to double check.
If UGA wins OM has 3 losses and we get to 12 if we win out.
Even in the extremely unlikely event that LSU wins out the regular season and doesn’t make the SEC championship game it’s essentially impossible for LSU to not make the top 12.
That’s why rankings at this point don’t matter for LSU.
We are in a playoff right now. 2/3 of our difficult games are at home.
We are playing well.
To think we are stuck at 15 is idiotic.

At the end of the day, if LSU takes care of business over the next three weeks, everything else will work itself out. I don’t let rankings get me worked up because, honestly, what good does that do? Why get bent out of shape over something I, or any other fan, have absolutely no control over? All LSU can do is take care of business on the field, and that’s what matters. The rest will take care of itself.

Read that part again real slow for your fanbase. A lot has to happen, and "if" won't do it.
If we drop a game or two and tie you. Hate to break it to you, but they will take us over you. Plus, we own the head-to-head.
We won't have to worry about this, though; you will drop out of the playoff picture after this weekend.
And if we finish 10-2, well, you already know what happens.
