Don't expect people to show up for weddings if this is a second wedding or you are over 30.

Hey bub I was 32 when I got married and we had like 300-400 people show up....of course my wife was 27 and it was in her home town

Wtf is this? If your Aints were playing in a wildcard Saturday playoff game you’d feel the same way douche.

I’m a huge LSU fan. I’m just saying it’s not “selfish”. Simply rsvp that you won’t be making it.

But the way you sounded it seemed like you view nfl FB are a higher priority than college football?

I got married during football season. But it was on a Friday and it was that next-to-last weekend of the regular season, where Bama and AU play shite teams.

That’s the way to do it. I’m not saying you can’t have one during FB season. There’s bye week, cupcake week, even SEC games against teams such as mizzou, Vandy or Arkansas I can see skipping.

It’s a catholic wedding. The priests might grab me if I do that. You know what I mean..

I've done it before, just sat in the back and be quiet. No one cared.

Also I've noticed more and more weddings I've gone to haven't had church ceremonies, they've just done it at the venue.

Those are the best.

Yeah I wish. The only reason this wedding is on this particular day is because the bride is hell bent on having it in a Catholic Church and the specific church she wanted was only available on this day. October 13th. Aka LSU vs UGA.

It’s ridiculous.

Wedding Venue selections are nuts.
There could be one date that is in a reasonable time after you get engaged, then that same place won't be open for another 3 years.

You gotta jump on whatever you can get.

Or have a Friday/Sunday wedding where everyone will make fun of you for.

Or you could expand your horizon and stop being so hell bent on one fricking venue. There’s plenty of Catholic Churches in Louisiana they could’ve checked out instead of being so set on that same damn one i
