The only acceptable option is a tailgate wedding. Even if its trashy its still better than missing the game.

A wedding that happens anytime between April and October in south Louisiana is fricking torture.

It’s an indoor catholic wedding. If they have a problem with me steaming on my phone during it, I guess I’ll be watching the wedding thru the window

Yep, my wife's oldest niece is getting married on November 3rd. That stuff pisses me off.

Fall weddings should be banned. I’m going to one in 2 weeks. Is it was a big home game I would he pissed. It’s my old college roommate and everything. He should know better.

I have a problem with you doing that during the mass but that is probably more of a me thing....I mean I was raised Catholic and was taught to respect the mass...but whatever it is what it is...do you.

I'm a hypocrite on this subject. I was married during football season - late September. I have apologized profusely to all friends and family for putting them through that. I have paid my debt to society and I am now adamantly anti-fall weddings.

I spent all day on my wedding day out in the car with my groomsmen listening to football games on the radio (this was pre-cell phone).

Bunch of fricking bullshite. I have to go to one Saturday. Will have to be in blackout mode so I can go back home and watch the recorded Auburn game.

You strike me as more of a casual LSU fan and not a die hard fan like most SEC fans on this site. I’m sure 9 out of 10 would be streaming the game. Especially during that long mass part of catholic weddings...

Ahh this will suck arse

I don't mind it.

Just because fall weather for a wedding > Summer Weather.

Also in today's day and age with smart phones, or TVs at bars at the venue and whatnot you really won't miss the game.

Had one last weekend. We watched the game at the hotel bar before it and then went to the reception at night.

Nothing missed.

Good luck. I’ve thought about trying this too. You literally have to turn your phone off and tell everyone to leave you alone. Don’t watch other people’s reactions. It’s too rough.

How old are these people? General rules. Don't expect people to show up for weddings if this is a second wedding or you are over 30. No one cares.

It’s too much of a crap shoot. What if the game is at 6 and the wedding starts at 6? By the time you’re at the reception, you’ve missed most of the game. frick that
