Until they win that natty, we can’t count on them.
We can at least assume there isn’t a “true test” until they get into the playoffs. They haven’t won that title since 1980, though.
We will see, but you shouldn’t bet on the Dawgs until they prove otherwise.

Y’all are assuming the test is beating Bama, but that’s not necessarily true. Winning the natty is the goal. Bama may stand in the way of that, but you still have to win that game even if Bama isn’t there.

You can win a natty and not be legit. It happens when you back into the playoffs despite not winning your division/conference.
All it would take for UGA to lose would be refs that call PI and defensive offsides enough to force UGA to play honest on D.

Kirby has been there since 2016, not 1980. Anything that happened before him is irrelevant to what he does during his tenure. The players do not know nor do they care about what happened before they arrived.
You’re acting as though the fan base is the football team and that they’ve been the same football team since 1980. Weird.
