Don't worry hookem, xwing/.../menu2 will disappear after Saturday. He won't come back until around baseball season. He loves baseball.
I don't understand why he is so worried about who Sark fricks or who your sister fricks . It is probably because he has never fricked anything except Rosie Palm and her five sisters.
A few years ago, a poster named Kaiser(RIP) did not believe he actually graduated from donghorn U. He was so butthurt, he actually posted a picture of a diploma and claimed it was his. It was the biggest pussy move I have ever seen on this board. Another time, he actually threatened to sue another poster.
xwing/.../menu2 is a piece of shite. He spends more time on here arguing with fellow UTrans posters than anyone else.

Could not care less about a big xii game.

Yep Sark has 2 final fours the past 2 years, a couple of playoff wins and whipped Bama on the road but he is somehow a complete failure.

I believe you made a case of Oklahoma without realizing.
Texas doubled up the rushing total of Ohio State
And still lost.
As for Mateer starting and then going down, Oklahoma has already played a game with Hawkins at QB this season.
Texas is the team that hasn't had to deal with losing their starter.

while I picked OU in this one, I can't believe I'm saying this but I think we can win. The fact that we are favored in this game means Vegas wanted people betting on oklahoma.
I still say they know something we don't.
plus I don't think Oklahoma is a top 10 team. Better than us? absolutely, but not top 10.

Like I said, I think you win. In fact I put $500 on Oklahoma when the spread was +4.
but vegas knows something. They don't always get it right. But they aren't in the business of losing money either.

yeah the irony is that if Sark was coaching at A&M or Oklahoma these same Longhorn fans would be posting the same stats I posted as proof sark is a very average coach. We all know this is true. Data doesn't care about their feelings.
Sark is a competent coach, he's just not an elite coach. The only prayer we have of this guy winning it all is if he took a step back, overhauled the coaching staff, and gave up the offense to a dedicated OC. It's not just me saying that either.
...but I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell he would give up the offense.
I still think he's beats the Ags this year. You have your own issues to worry about.

That is not really saying much. As bad as Texas' offense has looked in their first 5 games, Texas might be the best offense OU has faced so far this season.

The spread has flipped to OU -1.5.
Don't know how much of that is Mateer's upgrade to probable or just the late money being different. I'd guess the former, but I'm not a bettor except for the rare small stuff between friends. So it's not much of an educated guess.
Curious to see where it lands at game time.

You are right, "Vegas" I assume you mean the various sports books know something as in they know how much has been bet on each side of the line.
If the spread has gone from Oklahoma +4 to -1 or -1.5 then more money has been bet on OU and the change in the points is to encourage some more betting on the Texas side.
As far as losing money, the sports books don't care which team wins so long as the money is split evenly. The sports books will make a percentage of the total regardless of the result.
So yeah, Vegas knows . . . how to make money.

The problem with Sooners is they don't stick around and Melt. They hide in their teepees until we all forgot about the game.
Texas 24
Oklahoma 10

I don’t know why you sooners are so defensive today. I said I think you have the better team, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if we won.

It took not scoring with first downs inside the 10 yard line multiple times to pull that off. Sark becomes an idiot in the red zone.

Our backup QB can hit a wide open WR that is standing still. We would definitely be 4-1, maybe 5-0, if our backup had started. Arch leaving the game would be a HUGE boost for our offense.

The line keeps floating at my sportsbook and is at 0 now. I think Oklahoma wins by a point but I wouldn’t bet this game.
