You're giving the VT defense too much credit

Not really. They returned 9 starters to a defense that held FSU to -15 yards rushing last year.

They were 18th overall in team defense. 9th in sacks. 3rd in tackles for loss.

Because everyone assumed our offensive line would click much faster than it did.

I agree, but not giving him any consideration on a list that says Top 5 SEC RB's is just dumb.

He'll be on there moving forward. I'm sure there will be OL adjustments to allow him a chance to make a first cut, or at least see a lane.

Which is why I said he should have some consideration. I didn't say he should be in the top 5 or anything.

Okay. And? I could post Grant's 75 yd TD run. Or his overall stats.

I don't think you understand what overall performance means.

They were 30th in rush defense, including allowing 339 against UNC and 254 to Pitt. They aren't a bad D, pretty solid actually, but their rush d isn't good enough IMO to make Yeldon's 4.4 ypc outshine those listed above him this week.

You found 'em yet Pepa? Or do you just have a habit jumping into a thread, calling a poster out with no basis or ground to stand on, and exiting when called out?

Well if you had any knowledge of the situation at all you would have realized that Josey is coming back from "one in a million" knee injury tore his patella tendon, ACL, and MCL so I guess it's more about what he has had to overcome to get back to the same playing ability he had before the injury

Henry joesy knee injury

Okay? You still don't understand the OP.

Post their stats, side by side. Which ones are better?

WDE: make a thread of "best running backs who had to overcome lots of stuff and still had a good game", so this guy can feel good about himself.

how good VT's front 7 is.

Funny how this was never mentioned in the preseason. No one said a thing about Va Tech being strong up front.

Now they are the Baltimore Ravens on the defensive line.
