Aggie math is another weird thing to come out of that fan base.

Does anybody have an explanation as to why TAMU and LSU used to play in BR every year?
Money. Back in those days, the teams used to split the gate 50/50, so A&M made more money playing in Baton Rouge than they would have playing at home. It's shortsighted, but it was pretty prevalent thinking at the time. Hell, Bear Bryant even signed a 10 year deal to play all our games against Rice in Houston for this reason.

Good news is LSU cannot run away like last time Aggie started whipping that arse regularly

great game Tuesday.

Also, fantastic record against the tigers in football since joining the league.

It’s more of a natural rivalry than LSU Arkansas. That shite was forced so hard by the conference. There’s so much overlap between the fan bases. Houston is a battleground.

The thing about LSU is everyone hates you so you have a lot of natural rivals. Bama, Florida, A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas.

Then you should know that A&M was paid their fee as LSU was dealing with the SEC schedule changes. We need another game and while it was an important sell-out game for A&M, LSU has more important things to worry about then.

And we found you an appropriate opponent; it's not our fault you lost to Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL or Louisiana - depending on your viewpoint).

It’ll be even in 20 years. Calling it now. They have a better coach

Assuming Jumbo doesn't crash Aggie on the rocks like he did with FSU.

Also assuming that LSU doesn't hire a better coach.

Don’t understand why but LSU doesn’t seem to be the most attractive job tbh, see DC search...

Or the search when you landed Orgeron.

Maybe it’s the Saban effect. I dk.

What about it?

Alleva has said the choices were:

1. Herman
2. Fisher
3. Orgeron

Herman wanted Texas more, pretty understandable. Fisher wasn't interested after LSU left him at the altar the year prior, also understandable, so we ended up with O.

Aggie has beaten LSU twice in my lifetime.

Nearly every media account of the first game mentioned "controversial officiating."

The second game featured Aggies' best team in 20 years vs LSU's worst team in 20 years and ended up being a rather meh win for Aggie.

$100 this dude doesn’t realize he’s calling for Aggy to go 16-4 over that span.

Or the switch to 9 conference games which necessitated a shift in scheduling.

LSU couldn't keep dead weight games; while it was a key game for Texas A&M, it was a middling game for LSU. There were better candidates for LSU to play than Texas A&M and with less games free for scheduling, something had to change.

But keep complaining. I don't care; your Aggies got $100,000 and then lost to Southwestern Louisiana to fall out of the Top 25 on their way to 6-6.

You say that shite like the 2000s didn’t happen.

We were winning championships while you never won the Big 12.
