Yep was at that one too - and the ‘86 Miami OH and Ole Miss debacles too. A&M & ND games that year were wild wins. Fun times in the student section except for the outcomes sometimes!

Crime & Punishment is a fantastic book. Did you like it?

Not yet; didn't get through too much of it on the flights. I'm kind of a plodder with some books. This one might take me a few weeks.
It's a close call, maybe the Road over Grapes? But I might think differently tomorrow. I'm not a bawler, but I was crying at the end of the Road.

I was in a similar dilemma before a long flight to Europe last week. I took Crime & Punishment, because when the heck am I gonna read it if I keep waffling? Still have to get through lots of the classics.
Been going for quite a few years now, regardless of who the DC & DL coach are.
Nice - Was 8 years old for my first LSU game.

Is this near the grassy area behind the day care center and not far from Walkons?
I still remember that 1985 Sports Illustrated cover story:
"Hello, Trouble, I'm Dale Brown"

You’ll never catch UCLA.

I mean we did catch the Bruins in Omaha right? Or maybe they had the bad luck of catching LSU there
I don't buy that KP is anti-LSU. We hammered him 25+ years ago; he's probably over it. Seems like he gave us props too.
He sure seemed to love Skenes, Floyd and Hurd a couple of years ago.
Yep, I was cussing him but he made some plays.
You might have noticed UH had at least two key players from LA.

William Manchester wrote a bio of him way back when if you can find it.
Please. I see this headline too much already when I click on the Internet.

All of the semifinal teams were able to run the ball too.

This was what I saw too - watching the semifinals you saw offensive linemen that could actually block in the run game. I think the D will keep improving.

Yes, Nuss has a better arm than these other 4 QBs. Our skill position guys are a level above Penn State and ND. Get an O-line that can move the LOS and create room in the run game and we take a major step forward.

with Shaq on the king's float will it fit under the telephone lines?

Or under the live oak branches?

Larry Ellison didn't go to Michigan?

His newest girlfriend did though.

So did Larry Page, one of the founders of Google.
Did not look great early in the year. Much better lately.

Same here and my old man HATED him. But even then I had a soft spot for him cause he was my first coach.

Same here - I heard a lot of "Help Mac pack" in the stands as a kid. But Mac seemed to be liked by fans and respected by fellow coaches in retirement. Even my dad, after griping about him, would say he was the only coach to beat the Bear back to back years.
I got to meet and chat with Mac once or twice in his later years - we were going through chemo at the same place in '01.
A great Tiger. Still remember him snagging the back end of the ball for a long TD vs. Aggies in that 2010 Cotton Bowl.

I remember too that Jarrett Lee hung him out to dry to get clocked by a DB in '09. (LA Tech I think?) So yes, what he could have done with better QBs...
