I think most UGA fans are realizing how inept fromm is without Chubb or Michel. Unfortunately there are still some wowed by his bubble screens to mecole hardman. Hopefully Kirby comes around before fields transfers.

Just sticking with the script.

And when exactly was the last time UF won the SEC?

Not happening this year or the next or the next, etc, etc.

This is a young Ga team playing a lot of freshman and sophomores. Most fans knew this year was a rebuilding year, with Smart coaching up kids. I think we’ll wait and see what happens the next couple of years before we burn Athens. But thanks for your concern.

Saban got crushed by UGa in 2004 when he was coaching for LSU.

How are you going to compare Smart’s third year as a HC to CNS first 3 years at Bama? That’s just ignorant

Can we compare it to Gus'

2014 - starts 5-0. Loses 5 of next 8. One year after playing in NC.

Eerily similar

Atlanta last year.

While Georgia fans may be saying this today, that’s not the narrative they were yelling last week.

Check out the Georgia football podcasts from last week alone, not including all spring summer early fall! Couple dozens/hundred Georgia fans even held A Second Line through the French Qtr Friday. Really? TALK ABOUT “ACT LIKE YOUVE BEEN THERE BEFORE”!!!

And by the product that showed up on the field, it seems like the players have been listening to their fans and simply expected to show up in BR, put on their uniforms and LSU would quit. Instead LSU came out and punched them in the mouth and kept punching and Georgia was stunned and confused and couldn’t adjust. Just stood there and took their @zz whoopin.

Remember when richt beat saban 45-16?
That was at LSU not Alabama. Bama didn't lose by more than 7 even in his first year at Bama. Was within a 4th and 4 stop of the eventual NC LSU, from winning the SEC West with the 5th best talent in the division. Saban lost several games by a much larger margin at LSU in 5 years than at Alabama in 11+ years, including his first year at Bama. LSU is a great program but it is not Alabama.

Having said that, it doesn't mean Kirby isn't and will not do a good job, but to think he will do what Saban has done at Alabama, not MSU or LSU, is dreaming. Saban and Alabama were a perfect marriage. Most still don't realize how impossible it is to do what Bama has done the past 10+ years. It's never been close to happening in the past when it was easier and unlikely to be done in the future. 11 straight years at number 1 in the AP, the previous record was 7 by Miami in their run. Legitimately in the running for the NC until the last reg season game in 10 of the last 11 years and that year, 2010, in the running until November. Saban's Bama has been ranked number 1 more weeks than most other programs (all but OU, OSU, ND, USC, may pass ND and USC this year) in the entire history of the AP. The consistency is unparalleled. It's way too much to ask anyone else to do that.

Hold your horses! Georgia is 68% freshmen and sophomores! They are still a year away but the talent is there.

Probably Georgia Tech in 2016. He’s clearly still adjusting to being a head coach and I’m not sure if he’s too involved in the offense or if he’s not involved enough and letting Chaney’s retardism run rampant. Our offense has too much talent to be so mediocre.

Strikingly similar. Except that we have lost one game this year.
