Was this weekend the 1st realization for UGA fans that Smart isn't the 2nd coming (Saban)?

Smart is getting better recruits than Richt, but still lays an egg just like his predecessor. How do you let Coach O and Ensminger run a train on your D like that?

I thought this Justin Fields kid was ready to be a starter? You guys wouldn't even let him throw the ball, just option reads. Jalen Hurts could do that with his eyes closed and he's not even a starter.

I think so. Georgia thought they were gonna be the next Bama.

He lost to Ole Miss by 31.

Auburn by 23.

LSU by 20.

Imagine Saban getting waxed like that in year 3, Richt better get a cut of that 7m Kirby’s getting for leaving behind all that talent

I think it was a legit question that could be asked by anybody who follows the game

Every five years Georgia rises near the top...then crashes down.

Just sticking with the script.

So you're wanting to discuss Saban's worst loss? By 14 points?

Link the posts OP. There won't be another Saban, and nobody ever said otherwise. But, in the long haul, Kirby is the next best thing.

Any one that expects this will be severely disappointed...What he has going on at Bama will never be replicated, not even at Bama (not in our lifetimes anyway)

Eh. not the first time they've turned in a bad outing on his watch, and maybe won't be the last, but this Georgia team is relatively young. I think the way he's been recruiting gives him a chance to go on that kind of run, but maybe last season gave them a little bit of false hope they were already there.

If he can continue to lock down historically great classes, though, the sky is the limit.

Smart lost to a pretty damn good team in one of the toughest venues in college football.

I don’t think he’s in Saban’s league, but this wasn’t a terrible loss. It occasionally happens when you play good teams.

They really thought they were not going to miss Michel and CHubb, lol!

What fools they are.

They will lose to Florida or UK and off to the peach bowl they go-which isnt a bad consolidation prize.
