Yea it really sucked winning the SEC and taking Bama to overtime in the national title game last year. Kirbs is really layin dem bricks.

I see a lot of you are bashing Kirby. If it makes you feel better go for it. This Ga is not dead, yet. My hat is off to LSU, they played a great game. Good luck to them the rest of the way.

I think some LSU fans are forgetting last Sat. On any given Sat most SEC teams can beat any other, especially at home. Some teams get better after a loss. We did last season. We'll see what happens from here out. As you said, congrats to LSU for the win. But CFB is a fickle animal. Don't get too cocky. You have two potential arse kickin's on the horizon.

A loss is a loss. Doesn't matter if it's by 3 or 30. And let's not act like UGA got beat by Troy or Georgia Southern. They ran into a buzzsaw in a talented SEC team who was in a mood for blood in a hostile environment. Kinda hard to combat that. I'm sure I'm gonna rustle some tail feathers and send some posters into temper tantrums, but I don't think any team in the country was beating LSU Saturday.

Saban started coaching about the time Kirby was born. Fans almost never take that kind of thing into consideration though.

And he was also a National Title winning coach, household name, and had already rebuilt one SEC power. They aren't at the same points in their careers. You can try and make the comparison, but it falls flat.

smarts in his 3rd year and doing well. CNS is in his 20+ years of coaching, Kirby will be fine, he just going through those early stages of learning on the job.
