Yes, you win one game in decades, and you now "own" a team. Go back to the library, scooter. Your boyfriend is waiting for you...

Dude I get you are trolling but its Bama and it really isn't close. Your losses were bad and should have had a few more and you ended the season losing to a Michigan team that had almost 10 players opt out. You also had a returning qb and made the playoffs the year before, same as Texas.

Ole Miss, at least Texas made the playoffs.

Ole miss was better than I thought(and a lot of others) but there were 2 camps when it came to ole miss preseason predictions most either thought they were a pretender or a contender they were kinda neither

Naw dawg, it wasn't the "same as Texas". Texas didn't lose their head coach in the offseason and didn't switch offensive and defensive schemes, didn't lose a crap load of talent to the portal and wasn't forced to start a lot of inexperienced freshmen. You're overlooking and minimizing a crapload of important things to reach your conclusion. Texas and Alabama's situation last season wasn't anywhere close to the same.

You beat Georgia and were ranked number 1 the following week. You then lost to Vanderbilt. With a chance at the playoffs and a shot at the championship game, you got beat by Oklahoma. So from number 1 to all that. Sorry pal, it is you Bammers lol.

Only because of his family and another extremely weak qb class, which ppl made a big deal about Deion being involved in this last draft.

We played one excellent half of football all season, not to replicate it again the entire year, and that's what you're basing your conclusion on, ONE HALF of football. LOL! Okay, puppy dawg, OOOOKAY! LOL!

I would rank them (just in the SEC):

1. Bama
2. Ole Miss
3. LSU

Bama overall was still #1 in team talent. Ole Miss was experienced at a lot of the most important positions and fell off. LSU always has top 10 talent

Texas and UGA are very talented, but both were top 10 teams last year at worst

I know the dawgs are eligible for this discussion but they had a real schedule. With all the talent on the horns and a future top 5 pick backup QB...i expect more than a miracle wild card round victory over arizona state.

Truly a hilarious question coming from an Alabama fan.

#1
No one ever used the phrase "easy SEC conference schedule" until Texas showed up and won most of its games.

#2
Texas has been a play away from the national title game 2 years in a row. You can do better than this.

lol don’t flatter yourself, ask 2020 uga if anyone has ever been ragged for an easy sec schedule, there was basically a two month war fought about how easy the sec east teams have it compared to the west

Temper your lofty expectations for us. We did just fine this past year.

You (bama) also got boat-raced by the shittiest Oklahoma team in decades

This is true and surely one of the most enigmatic results of the 2024 season.

Number 1 to losing to some frankly terrible teams and a runner up trophy in the realiquest bowl.

*2020

It's the little Bammers, and it isn't close

All you had to do was beat Georgia once, and you never even had to go to Athens. Weak

The preseason betting line for Alabama's win total going into last season was 9.5. They won 9 games. They did exactly what the oddsmakers thought they would. So, I'm not sure how they were the most underachieving when they did exactly what the oddsmakers thought they'd do. I'd love to hear your overly biased explanation...

So what you're saying is your team underachieved for all but one half of football last year...

Sounds like the most underachieving team in college football last season to me

Underachieving means there was a set of expectations. Maybe YOUR expectations of Alabama were 10+ wins, but the oddsmakers, who I promise you know more about what to expect than you do, had them at 9.5 wins before the season started. And crazy enough, they won 9 games. So they fell right into what the experts (experts meaning not you) thought. Thanks though.
