Because I have derision for the NCAA?
They have historically been against anything like this. Even something as simple as a 2” sticker on the helmet has been denied.
My use of the “frivolity” is mocking their “old man yells at clouds” mentality.

They let FSU put bandit 1 license plates on their helmets for Burt Reynolds(badass helmets) so I’m not sure how much different this would be
