Wait, you can still choose to play even with less than 53 scholarship players?

Contact tracing is gayer than Elton John's booth at Studio 54.

Yeah, I really don't care about the total number of players out. If most of them are from one position group, you can't play the game.

You should be able to.

We probably came way too close to that number under CMR at least with scholarship players.

Yes.

No one has done so yet but I'm sure you will see people start doing it as there's no room for postponements anymore.

Apparently they were scared last week though:
quote:

"Based on positive tests and those considered as close contacts, along with non-COVID injuries, we do not have the minimum number of scholarship student-athletes available for Saturday's game against Auburn," MSU director of athletics John Cohen said in a statement. "While we are disappointed that Saturday's game has been postponed, our priority is the health, safety and well-being of our student-athletes and staff. We will continue to follow all established protocols and evaluate the most responsible path to return to the field."

I find it hilarious that backward Alabama fans think that posting factual information is "muh deflecting."

No it's hilarious when you were stuck on 53 as benchmark despite numerous posters telling you it was up to the team. "Muh missing position groups"

MSU has gotten to the point that they know they won't win if they have 52 or 82. Might as well play in and get it over with rather than postpone and try to get enough ready to play.
