Bama opened last year against a team that went 2-10 the previous year…and lost by two touchdowns

And then went on to beat OU, in Norman, in the first round of the CFP, by double digits.

Oklahoma was up 17-0 in that game, too.

OU is starting the season against UTEP, who went 2-10 last year.

UTEP has won 29 games in 10 years. That's worse than even a team like Auburn.

It's because Texas-El Paso has incorporated a system where they help actual people with mental and physical disabilities live a more full life.

Oklahoma knows all about this and doesn't care, they just want the win on their record. Shameful.

Alabama has played UTEP one time back in 2001 but they didn't know about UTEP's work with the disabled. Since then, after finding out about that, Alabama has not rescheduled them.

Congrats on splitting the season series. Maybe one year you won’t need a mulligan and you can finally make some progress on your H2H deficit vs OU

Congrats on losing your first (and only) home playoff game in history. Glad so many of your fans got to witness history being made in person.

Maybe in a thousand years, when Earth no longer exists, Oklahoma will have won another 10 NC's to match the amount Bama has. Doubtful.

Week 1 seems kind of weak across the board as far as watching football goes. Last year was a very good week 1.

They had to do this. 5-7 FSU was too much for them last year

At least we didn’t lose our season opener to them two seasons in a row.

You know how bad that sucks.

LSU Football Seasons

From 2000-2009, the 5 Nick Saban years and first 5 Les seasons, LSU went 89-33 (73%), won 3 SEC titles, and won 2 national titles. They finished ranked in the top 25 8/10 seasons.

The last 10 seasons LSU went 89-40 (69%), 1 SEC title, and 1 national title. They finished ranked in the top 25 6/10 seasons.

You guys really haven’t fallen off that much. It is just that you weren’t as dominate as you like to remember.

Now if you take out 2019 it looks much worse.

Taking that 2019 season out LSU was 74-40 (65%), zero conference championships, zero national championships, ranked 5/9 seasons, only one top 10 finish.

I'm still slightly in World Cup mode..... but BAMA vs ECU.... thank goodness it's at home, I'd hate to play in Andes Mountain altitude.
