Damn, you Bama fans are assholes.

The kid played well for you. Maybe some of you take this too seriously.

I've noticed something interesting. The amount of pity people feel for Hurts seems to be inversely proportional to the amount of love they feel toward Saban and Alabama...

... almost as if they're being disingenuous...

Bama fans trashing Hurts more than expected, you”ld never guess that Hurts won every game for them except one I believe. Sucks for this Bama player, Tide fans suck. I don’t believe LSU or Aub fans would behave this way towards a player on their team that won as many games and represented their team so well.

Never mind that LSU fired the coach with their best winning pct ever. A guy that won conference titles and a national title. Disrespected him so much that he was fired in the middle of the season even. My heart hurts for poor Les Miles.

LSU made Miles wealthy beyond his worth. Bama fans trashing a Bama player who worked his arse off for Alabama winning many games, leaving the player with little, wealth wise, to show for it, just Saban and Bama fans middle fingers.

Really no comparison to Miles duffs!

First, Social media won't take Saban down. He's been the most despised man on social media (because of jealousy) for years. Years.

2nd, it's another attempt by an LSU fan to discredit a coach that they will forever moan and groan about him not being there anymore. Where can I find fault with Saban so I can feel better about him not being here. LSU fans call Saban a moron for keeping Mauck in the Florida game in 02,
for not playing prevent against Arkie in 02, etc. So,
if he is such a bad coach, horrible substitution guy, no character, etc, then why wouldn't you be glad he's not there anymore? Why piss and moan about him?

3rd, it's just another, Bama is for it so I'm against it scenario. You know who supported a money draining program like UAB after football was cancelled? Non Alabama fans. Iona, Hofstra, Northeastern all cancelled football in recent years. I never saw the first post about how they should be allowed to have a team, it's good for the kids, good for the community, Someone was jealous of them having a team, nothing. To this day I haven't seen one shred of support for any of these programs from anyone.

Lastly, no, we won 't ever turn on Saban like you think we should. He's earned that right. Everybody else can turn on him...we couldn't care less. Couldn't care less. He's OUR coach. You have your own ( who has been turned on pretty bad) that you should be concerned with.

Mike Johnson, who was a gritty, hard working O lineman on the 09 team who made himself into and All American with little ability said the right things yesterday. He said it's not sabans job to be a nose whiping nanny. He talked about 07 when he wasn't very good and Saban never spoke to him. He said he didn't take it any other way than he felt he wasn't in Saban's plan and needed to work harder. It was his job to make the coaches need him and not the coaches job to prop him up. He said it wasn't Jalen's talent that was the question but..at times... his effort that had Saban put off. The one thing Saban WON'T allow is not putting in 100 percent. Last season and especially the back half of the season, Jalen was not there. He was not playing hard. Period. His concentration was gone, his confidence was gone. He mentioned the Auburn game where it was a critical Alabama drive, Bama had a 3rd and 8, Harris slipped out in the middle on a pass play and would have gotten 20 yards had Jalen hit him but he ran to the sideline and lost 2 yards. Damien dropped his arms, dropped his head and shook his head walking off the field. The players were so frustrated. yea, as fans, we have been hard but THAT game, THAT one.. to not care? The Iron Bowl????. You may lose but you better show effort. We can deal with losing any game but he was flat out non concerned with that game and that is not gonna keep you in good graces. Folks won't say it but if you asked people had you rather play Bama with Jalen or Tua, there would be an overwhelming answer to that question. It wouldn't be close and you know who the answer would be.

BTW, LSU isn't hard on qbs? hmmm. Jordan jefferson ring a bell? He won A LOT and may be the most hated qb in your history. We don't care how many downvotes FB gets for Saban. Don;t care. He's our coach, makes the right moves, wins championships. If a player is replaced and is in Saban's doghouse because of lack of effort, then so be it. We couldn't care less. Win. The name of the game is win. YOu don't seem to concerned that O brought in a transfer and basically threw his other QB's in the wastebasket. He pretty much told them they suck.

Anyhoo, please get a million downvotes for Saban, get 2 mill, get 10 mill, it has no bearing on our trust in him and how we view him. As Mike Johnson said a team player doesn't do what Jalen did and he frankly he feels entitled. If so, it will only hurt the team, as it did last year.

We understand 27-2 would get you a statue at LSU, but Bama just has a different standard

That's why Bama is the best program in college football history and LSU is a scrappy lil team

No.

Saban should play the quarterback that gives him the best chance to win under the circumstances. He would be a shitty coach if he did otherwise.

Hurts needs to earn his spot. That is all.
