Tenn curriculum within each degree rated lesser difficulty, therefore easier to get a higher gpa per class

Who cares? Why would a school offer a degree if isn’t worth a damn?

Is this a serious question?

There's plenty of degrees not worth shite, the college is in business to make money. If someone is willing to pay $50k/yr to get a 17th century french art degree, they will take your money.

Bennett would not have been allowed to stay on scholarship nor be a walkon at any school but UGA.

Bennett definitely would not have fit in at Tennessee.
Bennett won championships.
Tennessee isn't into that.

If attending class, impaired their NIL ability, I can see where there would be a rule changed almost immediately if they sued the NCAA.

But I’m also wondering what the grades in progress towards your degree mean anymore? Most people don’t seem to care whether they actually graduate anymore and the sad part about that is 90% of the players will need that degree.

Nope...depends on the program. There are plenty of high ranked UT programs that Georgia doesn't even offer

National Rankings:

Nuclear Engineering - UT #6, UGA N/A
Supply Chain Management - UT #4, UGA N/A
Aerospace Engineering - UT #53, UGA N/A

There are others where UT ranks higher than UGA:
Physics - UT #55, UGA #89

Actually...UT is #66 in Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs, and UGA is #90.

But...UGA is #1 in Insurance programs and tied for #3 in Real Estate. Those things weigh into the overall rankings.

If you look at the US News Rankings criteria...UGA also beats UT in:
Student-Faculty ratio - UGA 17:1, UT 18:1
6 Year Graduation Rates -UGA 87% (except for Stetson Bennett), UT 72%

Very true. And these college kids who have become very wealthy in a very short time are probably going to be a sad case study once their careers are over and their support structure is gone.

The NFL has already had a problem with this for years. Imagine a whole new cadre of kids who have all of that money, no degree, and end up without a significant NFL contract — some grifters out there are going to have it made.

Most SEC football players are definitely getting help with grades.

They didn't care about school before and that's been kicked into overdrive with NIL
