The LSU fan mantra is everything is meaningless except a national championship. If that were actually true, DVH wouldn’t be a HOF coach.

Nobody is “fricking anything up” on here for Tony Vitello lol. This message board could not be more inconsequential to how his players, recruits, his employer or the baseball world at large in general views Tony V.

First off if you read that site then that’s on you.
But Dave has shown no interest in retiring and at 63 I doubt he’s in a hurry now that things are in place to keep things going. There’s no telling where Tony will be by then so there’s nothing to worry about.

Imagine being a fan base that brags about being top 25 in 3 major sports or whatever arbitrary stat you morons were posting the other day and then in the same breath clowning a program that doesn’t have a national title in said sport.

If Arkansas already had a national seed or hosting a regional in the bag then Dave just puts little effort in winning it.
Now the 2021 season was out of character and it it ended in a disaster in the supers.

But seriously, in the grand scheme of things, both teams get a home regional and super regional. Same result, less risk in a meaningless tournament to teams who have sewn this up.
This isn’t anything to brag about.
