How though? Unlike Tennessee, Arkansas actually has a serious baseball program…right?
Like we’ve got a clown serving as a head coach I’m told, whereas Arky has legendary future shoe in HOF Dave freaking Van Horn.
Makes no utter sense as to why our baseball poverty stricken asses has more SEC tournament championships than a perennial baseball Goliath like Arkansas

Get the sand out of your vagina. Vitello is a great coach, but he also needs to win something meaningful. The same applies to Dave Van Horn actually.

He’s won plenty of “somethings” now since the Covid year, it’s just that he hasn’t won a natty by his 6th full season at age 45, therefore he hasn’t won “anything” yet apparently.
And if we don’t win the natty literally this year, the collective narrative will be it was another “failure/“choke” of a season for Vitello and Tennessee baseball.

Sure, he may be and he may not be. All coaches in the discussion are great. Our coach and program has still accomplished more and that’s all anyone cares about lol.

Cool. DVH is also 16 years older lol. What are you even arguing? I’d hope he has more to his career than Jay Johnson or that’d be kind of sad tbh. And yes I agree the LSU program allows not as good coaches to achieve great things. It is kind of nice.

I mean it’s not like I don’t get the hate. He’s been winning way too much recently and is a tad too self confident about himself to not be getting hate. Sure am glad we hired that young, inexperienced assistant coach from Arkansas a few years back!

And where did I argue that he was not a HOF? I’ve already called him a great coach I don’t know the last 4 posts now. He still has work to do when compared to the all time great coaches. He’s not without his faults.
