Are these reports just for the Disney affiliated networks? What were the ratings for UO and Okie State on CBS?

The most watched game ever was 2006 Texas vs. USC in the Rose bowl at 35.6 million.

2nd place was Ohio State/Oregon in '15 = 34.1 million

3rd place was Alabama/Texas in '10 = 30.8 million

4th place was Alabama/Miami in '93 = 30.1 million

5th place was Nebraska/Miami in '95 = 30 million

When Ole' Miss and LSU make it to the NC this season, it will be 50 million.

I know, Night Vision. Just adding additional info in the same vein as your original post. There was no implication you were wrong or anything.

Post 2012, ratings for title games haven't been nearly as big as in the old days because ABC/ESPN insists on putting the Playoff games on ESPN instead of on ABC.

It costs them probably 4-6 million viewers for the Championship game but it does give them ammo to the big cable providers to force them to keep making consumers pay for ESPN in television packages.

Tennessee vs Georgia Tech only getting 1.8 million is a pathetic number... I don't care what it's up against.

Tennessee doesn't have near the following that it's fans think it does.

This should be a big F U to the CFP committee. Their de-prioritization of SOS will kill OOC games and this shows how much a Texas v osu actually matters to the sport.

Is it just me or does 14M seem low for a prime time top 5 matchup between 2 big brands? says most watched regular season primetime game in nearly 15 years so just me apparently. If I had to guess the # off top of my head I would’ve been off by more than 10M+…

Guess I’m thrown off by recalling the USA knockout World Cup game had 3x more viewers in US on the Fox broadcast alone. Regardless, I’m thinking LSU-Ole Miss game goes over 15M this weekend with all the Lane hate watching

That's just god damn dopey. I didn't realize the game was on TV until they showed a replay of the pick 6 during one of the other games and said "now airing on the SEC Network."
