1st road game with a ton of guys out. Vols played absolutely terrible, worst game of the year from a coaching perspective and it would have been mind blowing if the Vols would have lost that game.
Vols would have blown Vandy out that night. Odd play calling, the drops, and bad refs, Vols still would have blown out Vandy. It might have been close for a half but Vandy just doesn’t have enough roster to keep up.

Vanderbilt isn’t really legit, there’s just more parity to the point that they might beat anybody. We are all down bad. The big 10 is the premier conference now due to northern money that we ain’t got down here.

Vandy is definitely good.
Great or better? Hard to say. That was a manageable loss to Bama IMO. Meaning they played well overall but several key breakdowns.

You may be right but I am leaning the other way. I didn’t watch Pavia much last year. He didn’t necessarily light us up when they won. He had a good game for sure, but then they faded and went 7-6.
He does a lot of Dino and dunks and their entire system is built upon MIs direction and confusion.
If he gets down by two scores and has to have 5 wide, they will lose. They don’t have a ton of speed on the offense so LSU’s defense will keep them on the game for sure.
And I can’t stand the muddy bastards so it’s saying a lot

Wouldn’t be a surprise if they beat LSU unless they can miraculously figure it out on offense
