What a class act. He handled every question just so well and was so gracious. There is much to learn from that press conference and how to handle a loss. You can tell when he got emotional how much his team means to him.

I felt like I couldn’t stand DVH years back but that’s probably because I always thought he was better than Maineri

He’s really impressive and a victim of his own success

He’s had a ton of practice at it. No better loser than DVH.

He is one hell of a coach. You are lucky to have him

When you get used to losing in Omaha, that’s all you’ll ever do

That's exactly what you don't want to hear from a conference foe.

We have a ton of respect for your team and your program.

If we had beaten Tennessee like this, we would not be as gracious.

Our graciousness is a sign of respect for your team and your coach

Well he got further than _% of teams did (I’m not doing the math) and consistently does.

I read they have more wins in college baseball in the last 5 or so years than anyone else.

He wouldn't last at LSU.

This was easily one of his favorite teams. He raved about how much he liked them all year long.

My pipe dream is that some of them get the revenge bug and choose NIL money over draft money to run it back. The first rounders are obviously gone, but I hope we can convince some of the lineup to stay.

Just curious, why did you think that? He wasn't going to Omaha more and he wasn't beating Mainieri often either

Arkansas in my opinion is caught between a rock and a hard place. It’s very similar to the FSU situation with Mike Martin. DVH has been successful enough to go out on his own terms , but the fanbase is more restless each year because he can’t get them a championship. LSU has proven that they have no problem firing a National Champion coach if things become stale and don’t continue to produce. DVH has continued to keep them successful so it’s a tough situation. Best of luck to you guys going forward.

He is absolutely one of the best at losing. No doubt about it. He’s done it a ton.

Jay said last night the 3 best teams this year were also the 3 left standing going into last night's game. That doesn't always happen.

Arkansas was loaded. But so is LSU. Both teams seemed to get tight in the last couple of innings. That's baseball.

He's had plenty of practice. He should be one of the best ever. A loser with a loser's mentality that he instills in his teams. But, very gracious.
