Think they’re capable of beating anyone in the nation

Great job Vols

If Tennessee wins Saturday they’ll probably take it from Arizona

I agree, but still have business to take care of.

If VOLS win Saturday and still don’t get a 1, it’s more a testament of what they deem the SEC versus how they see the VOLS.

Should already be locked imo. How many tournament teams are coming out of the Pac12 this year? How many tournament teams have they beaten?

Agree- definitely a 1 seed, should be #1 overall seed if they whip UK this weekend

Probably no more than 3.

The computers between Arizona and Tennessee are too close to call at the moment.

Mmm, I don’t see them above UConn nor Houston.

Lunardi just bumped Tennessee up to a #1 seed after tonight's game. 3 straight wins against #13, #16 & #17. 2 of those on the road. Another chance on Saturday against #15 UK to cement it.

Personally I'd rather win Saturday, get bounced in semi final round because we played freshmen and walk ons for 35 minutes, prepare for the big dance.

It’s been a hellacious stretch. And we’ve been winning all through it.

Tenn will be close to being a 1 seed. The only thing is 3 losses in non con to ranked teams early but they did beat Illinois. They will be putting Purdue and Houston over them for sure Purdue beat Tenn. I would say Uconn is a lock to be a one seed as well but there schedule is way softer than Tenn. I Really think its Tenn to lose but I could see Arizona and Iowa State still having great shots at getting the last 4 seed. Tenn probably needs to win a game or two minus Iowa state or Arizona winning their leagues champ titles. Tenn looked good last year as well, they need to put it together in March because last year for them was a let down.

Tennessee are sitting there starters Saturday to rest up for SEC Tournament. UK is nothing special and no need to risk injury for a worthless game, that means nothing in any sense of the imagination!

Considering how long Rick Barnes has been at Tennessee now, you’ve had more than enough time to have a basic understanding of basketball in March.

Yeah, I think they should be as well.

Someone mentioned winning the SEC tournament but the seeds are determined before that happens.

If they beat UK at home this weekend after just beating a really nice SC team, then they will be one of the 4, #1 seeds.

If Kneckt (sp?) gets hurt, they are in serious trouble. Otherwise, they are golden.
