When the hell did this happen? Tenn has no state income tax. I suggest you re-research this.
Are you saying this is incorrect?
What are we supposed to re-research.
I live in TN and I’m pretty sure we don’t pay a state income tax.
Do you live here?

Nico’s money problems

I’m pretty sure Nico’s dad doesn’t work. He’s the classic mooch, living off his son’s money.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the decision to squeeze TN for more cash originated with the dad, but the guy’s too dumb to foresee the risk involved with such a poorly conceived idea.
Now Nico’s at UCLA, getting around 1.5 before taxes. So that’s less than 800K after taxes. Still a lot of money, but not nearly as much as it sounds with expensive CA prices for everything and this money being used by everyone to live on.
That dumpster fire of a family may look back at this decision as the beginning of the fall.
It could get so bad the dad may have to get a job too.

Tom makes some great movies.

Just heard someone on radio summarizing a Plaxico Burress interview who supposedly has ties to Nico. Basically this did not start out about money and was supposed to happen after the season. It was originally about their concern that Nico was not a fit for JH offense and was wanting TN to make changes which JH said he was going to do. Ended up not making changes Nico tried to leave before spring and Tn started offering more money because Nico had reached out to other schools like Oregon who needed a QB. I have no idea if any of this is true but it is what Burres said in an interview.
That sounds like a laughable story.
So the coach that focuses more on offense than any other in the league, the coach that had to change the play calling because Nico wasn’t capable of running the hurry up offense, agreed to make more changes to the offense because Nico asked him to.
This kid’s a clown and his dad is a lying sack of shite.

Agreed. But at the time we signed him, his market value was 2.4 million. Hindsight is 2020.
Also, Nico was earning this money in a state with no income tax.
If he signs with UCLA, he’s going to see a change in that.

Bacteriology lab at East Jeff Hospital.
Arrived each morning to two dozen small gray containers of poo from patients waiting for me to smear on agar plates.
Disgusting to think about now, but I needed the paycheck and health insurance.

Congrats dude. Now enjoy your son being aggravated at you when he needs to get a job, rent an apartment, take out a loan, or do anything else an adult has to do.
Are you planning to sue every loan officer and potential employer that crosses paths with your son? You probably know what they’re going to ask for.

Define rich.
I may have, or maybe not. Depends on your perspective.

At this point, I'm actually starting to doubt that. I've got 25 pages of people saying "You're wrong", "You're an idiot" and folks that either appear to or claiming to practice law telling me that the judge is going to toss this. They were ALL wrong. So he DOES have to have a Tax ID to file taxes bit I'm starting to doubt that it HAS to be a SS#. Maybe it does but I'm done listening to those that "know better" than I do. I'm going to start doing my own research on this.
You were right.
You’re still an idiot.

re: When has paying off a house ever been a decision someone regretted?
Posted by Grinder on 4/6/25 at 8:26 pm
Paid mine off earlier this year. Was in year 8 out of 30.
Almost everyone I consulted said don’t do it, but every month I don’t have that payment feels great and reminds me that I’m completely debt free.
No regrets.

Auburn has to be the most unlikable team in the entire tournament.
