San Diego State does the whole country a solid by ousting Nate Oats, Alabama

quote:

The Aztecs did the entire country – well, 49 of the states, at least – a solid Friday night by eliminating top-seeded Alabama and its thick cloud of ick. Rather than cringing at the thought of Nate Oats getting rewarded for his shameless opportunism with a national title, we can enjoy the rest of the NCAA men’s tournament without feeling the need for a shower when it’s over.

I will let you read the rest of this masterpiece for yourself.

I'm sure this thundercount will be around to apologize when they are acquitted for self defense.

The thug pulled in behind Miller, and shot first.

police say something different.

quote:

Police allege that Miller's vehicle and teammate Jaden Bradley's vehicle, who was also on the scene, were blocking the Jeep that Harris was later found dead in. However, Miller's attorney denied that claim, saying in a statement that, "Brandon had already parked on Grace Street when the jeep pulled up behind him."

"The street was never blocked by Brandon's vehicle," his attorney said.

there is more to the story..........

quote:

In surveillance video played in court, Harris could be seen leaving the bar with her cousin, Asia Humphrey, and boyfriend, Cedric Johnson, to get food from the nearby Quick Grill. They took the food to a black Jeep where they sat at the intersection of University Boulevard and Grace Street for an extended period.

Miles, Davis, and Bradley could be then seen approaching the vehicle, Davis stopping to dance in front of the Jeep. After a brief interaction which Investigator Culpepper described as "elevated," Davis allegedly told Johnson, "We don't want your girl." Miles claims he saw a gun passed to Johnson inside the car.

After the encounter, the suspects walked to a nearby parking lot right before 1:40 a.m. Around the same time according to text messages shown in court, Miles texted Miller, "I need my joint a n****r rl jus got fakin".

Surveillance footage then showed the black Jeep meeting with another car before nearing the parking lot where the suspects were and turning off its lights.

Davis allegedly approached the driver side of the black Jeep with Johnson in the front seat and said, “I told you I was gonna get you,” before shots were fired. Investigators believe Davis shot the first bullet before shots were fired back and forth. Harris was shot in the left side of her face. Davis suffered a shot in his right shoulder and wore a sling in court.

quote:

Investigator Culpepper said at least four calls were made to 9-1-1, but Miles was the first person to call. He allegedly first told police that he didn’t know how his friend was shot.

During a police search of an apartment shared by multiple Alabama basketball players, a gun was found in Jaden Quinerly’s bedroom along with a hoody Davis appeared to be wearing the night of the shooting. Culpepper said Quinerly was out of town during the time of the shooting.

BRANDON MILLER: I mean, I think it was a pretty successful season. Made it to the Sweet 16. Probably one of the biggest tournaments I've ever played in in my life. I think we really just came to have fun really and just compete at a high level.

Brandon Miller shooter jokes pouring in

“With Brandon Miller struggling to make baskets all night, I’m surprised he didn’t try to get it to his shooters more. He’s shown the ability to do that in the past,”

“Well if the Alabama police weren’t going to lock up Brandon Miller, glad San Diego State did.”

I really can’t think of a team in any sport that deserved to lose more than this one.
