UGA probably passes UT this year as the leader of the 2nd tier of the SEC

So by your account Michigan is the GOAT college program? We have very different accounts about what constitutes tiers of college programs. All time wins is not very high.

Surprised this one is this close. Despite dominance in the 90's and 00's, UF was mediocre or worse for most of it's history. Auburn has had great runs in several different decades.

Auburn also had several years head start. Believe UF was the last of the SEC to get a football team in 1906. Have to remember barely anyone lived in Florida pre-50's. AC comes around and the boom begins.

T-2. Alabama and Ohio State (942)

that doesn't include the 30 games Alabama won on the field that some ncaa guy decided would be forfeited or vacated

I think Ohio State had to vacate some wins for cheating also.

I would assume Michigan hits 1,000 first followed by Alabama

When you are in the teens, like number 17, you aren't a big anything. You're just a pretty good program. Not elite.
Bama is the big one.

Holy insecurity.
