Damn I had no idea alabama had gained so much ground on Michigan.
Michigan fans are probably sweating that one out. Most wins ever is a huge part of their identity.

It would still take Alabama a decade to catch up even at this current pace.
I highly doubt their record is broken in at least 25 years.

Harbaugh has helped extend their lead. I think ND and possibly Texas pass OU this year. UGA passes UT likely this year.

Mich and tOSU started playing football in 1879 and Bama started in 1892. Bama would be far and away the all time leader if you take 13 years away.

Wonder if Saban will hold out from retirement to reach the all time wins pinnacle. He’s only 3-4 seasons away.

Looks like we pass the 900 wins mark in the next five years

When you are in the teens, like number 17, you aren't a big anything. You're just a pretty good program. Not elite.
Bama is the big one. You're closer to Auburn than Alabama. Tennessee must have just fallen out of the top 10. UGA probably passes UT this year as the leader of the 2nd tier of the SEC.

Brady Hoke and Jim Harbaugh have really went above and beyond in helping Ohio state and BAMA make it a race.

If the NCAA hadn’t screwed Alabama with 21 vacated win between ‘05-‘07, it would be a little different story. I think 8 wins were vacated from the Langham situation in 1993 also, which was at least arguably legitimate at the time. Alabama likely passing UM in the next few years at most if those games are in the books.
Crazy that a decade ago a kid is ineligible for selling a textbook for cash or signing a napkin, but now we have kid’s faces on mustard bottles and and $1M marketing deals. Not arguing for or against it, just pointing out the absurdity of the breadth of changes recently.

I wouldn't have guessed the gap was this large.

Surprised this one is this close. Despite dominance in the 90's and 00's, UF was mediocre or worse for most of it's history. Auburn has had great runs in several different decades.

Big facts and they sure won't like it.

Auburn's played like 100 more games than us.

It just makes me dream happily of what a world without Land Grant U in Alabama could have been.
