Robert Aaron Suttles, who serves as the content director for ‘Yea Alabama,’ the SEC powerhouse’s official NIL entity, was arrested along with 14 others in Shelby County, Alabama, on Thursday.

“The individual is suspended and is not performing any work for us,” Yea Alabama said in a statement to AOL.com. “The matter involves personal conduct unconnected to any Yea Alabama business. A legal proceeding is pending, and our internal review is ongoing, so we have no further comment.”

This thread makes it look like he was trafficking to fund the NIL. He was trying to buy a $100 piece of arse. I don't buy arse, but given the price of beef these days, $100 probably doesn't buy prime.

Just as misleading today as it was the first time it was posted. He got busted for soliciting prostitution.

When did we change prostitution to human trafficking?

He picked up a for sure lay instead of paying $200 for dinner/drinks and a chance of some action

I'm sure he was caught in a human trafficking sting, and that's being misconstrued by the media.

When it became a direct tie of funding to combat transnational criminal organizations and organized crime.

It is silly as narcotrafficking (also legitimately tied directly to human trafficking) doesn't get the same tag.

Solicitation of a prostitute gets a potential contributing to human trafficking tag. But, buying drugs for personal use doesn't get the same charge for participation in drug trafficking.

If it weren't clearly about LEOs wanting more $$, it wouldn't make any sense.

The wording makes more folks pay attention. It will eventually lose it's shock value the way the media using it.

Former Alabama NIL content director back in jail after prostitution sting arrest

quote:

A longtime Alabama sportswriter and former director of content for Yea Alabama arrested in a prostitution sting in Shelby County is back in jail after a judge revoked his bond.

quote:

Suttles was arrested initially arrested July 23 and released on $1,000 bond.

Shelby County prosecutors this week successfully filed a motion to revoke that bond after Homewood police arrested Suttles on July 25 on a DUI charge.

One of the conditions of his original bond was that he not commit any new crimes.

It was breaking news when it happened.

I bumped the thread because there were further developments.
