It ain’t just a high ankle sprain. Check Texags in a few days it will leak.

He’s got a leaking ankle sprain? That sounds gross.

I read this shitfest thread so you don’t have to. Clearly Connor will be back sometime between day-to-day and 6 weeks. That’s my conclusion.

Margin of error +/- a season.

You are welcome.

Confirmed NOT a high ankle sprain. Pretty good chances he will be back for Bama.

This sets up perfectly for Ags. Get Max the needed reps to prove himself as one the best QBs in SEC.

Then back comes Conner.

Difficult for Bama to game plan when Fisher will not announce the starter until game day versus Bama.

Gonna make it tough for them and game planning!!!

Both are top SEC QBs. We will be just fine. Weigman having a much higher ceiling. Either way, Max gets drafted as a journeyman NFL qb. A Win-Win and great recruiting story for future QBs...

COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M sophomore quarterback Conner Weigman’s lower leg injury is worse than previously thought, according to multiple program insiders.
Weigman might miss the rest of the season after further tests revealed a more extensive injury than a bad sprain. A&M coach Jimbo Fisher on Monday had described Weigman as “day to day” with an ankle injury suffered late in the first half of A&M’s 27-10 victory over Auburn last Saturday in the teams’ Southeastern Conference opener.
Fellow sophomore Max Johnson replaced Weigman in the second half and threw two touchdown passes to open up the game. The Aggies (3-1) face Arkansas (2-2) at 11 a.m. Saturday in Arlington’s AT&T Stadium, and Johnson is scheduled to make his first start of the season.
Johnson started at LSU two years ago before transferring to A&M prior to last season. Weigman, who beat out Johnson for the starting job in August camp, played in four games this season and could redshirt if he doesn’t play again this year, if he so desired. Weigman, 20, might be a high-round selection in the 2025 NFL draft, when he is first eligible for the draft.
Weigman is a former five-star prospect out of Bridgeland High in the class of 2022 who was one of the SEC’s top quarterbacks a fourth of the way into this season and prior to his injury..

Which means after the bye week which means South Carolina at home.

That’s a safe bet.

Meanwhile Max takes on Arky, Bama and Tenner.

Welcome to getting to keep Jimbo one more year A&M fans. Now he has a build in excuse to go 6-6 and there is no reason to fire him.

Billy Liucci @billyliucci Toughest of news for A&M football. Per everything I've heard since yesterday and from sources very close to situation, QB Conner Weigman's foot injury is, in fact, a season-ender for the emerging SEC star. Weight-bearing bone and roughly a 3.5 month recovery.

Well shite on a cracker.

If the Oline knew how to pick up a blitz, this would not have happened.
