Any number of plebes with no meaningful reps. You have the most accurate assessment in the thread thus far.

I'm amazed that someone downvoted this.

Weigman 8/14 for 70 yards and 0 tds.
Johnson 7/11 for 123 yards and 2 tds.

This will only help the Aggies.

He did, and he's good, but he's not better than Conner. That was Conner's worst half of football since his first start, I guess.

We get TAMU without their starting QB in three weeks?

Hmm, I'd rather they get us without our starting QB. :/

Weigman’s numbers were huge the first couple of games.
And he didn’t suck in the half he played v. Auburn.
He’s a great QB, as is Max Johnson.

If this report is true (Fisher hasn’t verified it) any hesitation from Ags is likely the result(s) of: (a) the shittiness of the team sustaining a starting QB injury so early in the season; (b) empathy for Conner; and (c) the sheer unease of having to start a backup QB.

Regardless, QB isn’t the biggest weakness of this team. We should be fine with Weigman and/or Johnson out there.

That’s tough, aren’t y’all starting a true freshman at RT?

Here's hoping max johnson misses a wide open TD against Bama, again

Lol he'll probably have the game of his career against us.

High ankle sprain despite what Jimbo says. Don’t want to rush back from that or it will linger the entire season.

It completely contradicts Jimbos statement today

Probably not wanting to tip his hand any sooner than he has to if I had to guess. Of course it's hard to keep something like that under wraps these days.

It’s going to be a lot longer than 2-4 weeks.

You’re fricking Auburn, didn’t matter who came in for A&M.

Put pressure on Max and he'll fold like a cheap suit!

I think if they bring him back too early then it might not be healed, but with solid rest 2-4 weeks is possible

This never works out for the opposing team like you think it should. Sigh

Connor’s advantage was his quick release, accuracy, and the arm angles he can throw out of.

Max is right behind him, throws an accurate deep ball, shortened his throwing mechanics (last year, it was a long wind up, and has improved his short pass accuracy.

One guy you might see more this game is Moose. He tends to be Johnson’s go to in prior games.
