I thought gatuh were pretenders until the Auburn mouthfrick and now I have no read on this game. I'll take whoever is getting points on this one.

Not a smart move. At -13.5, Vegas is begging people to bet on Florida.
They know what’s up. LSU by 2+ TDs.

IMHO, Florida is too one dimensional this year.
Grantham will throw every junk pitch he can muster at Burrow and Brady, but I think Florida fades in the second half.
As an unbiased Auburn fan, I agree with this.
That Perine run broke Auburn's back but Florida is going to need a lot more offense to keep pace with LSU. Perine had motivation against Gus. Burrow is much better than Bo Nix (for now anyway).
LSU by 17.

Florida's defense will make a few plays to keep them in it early, but LSU eventually pulls away and I don't think Florida's offense can keep up.

I think it will be closer than the betters predict but I got LSU pulling it out at home. Really depends on Trask’s health; he has brought a jolt to the reptiles that may run out in Death Valley but we will find out Saturday night.
LSU hasn’t had much of a run game; neither has Florida. LSU has been on a prolific pace in their passing game. Can the secondary of Florida be physical enough to get them off their routes and off schedule? Even if so, Burrow can run and his ability to extend plays can due some damage as UGA found out last year in DV.
If Florida can manage to sustain drives and keep Burrow off the field, get some timely turnovers for additional possessions...they’ll have a chance.
But if LSU gets rolling and then those playmakers that return on D make an impact, it could hit the spread.

Kind of agree.
Grantham will have his D ready to play and they will have a few different DL stunts and blitz ready and likely will be effective on the first maybe second series. But after the early series Grantham and the Florida defense will not have enough time to readjust after Burrow and Brady adjust.
Oh ok. So LSU will adjust after the 1st series, but the Gators "won't have enough time" to counter that adjustment. Jesus Christ.

I stand by my remark. Pansy of the highest order. Also funny to see "unbiased" LSU fans all over this thread.

The Gators beat a pretty good Auburn defense team better than anything with what LSU has run up into yet. LSU has played nothing but a bunch a high school defenses. They will be in a shock. Gators always seems to have LSUs number. I'm picking the Gators in a score of 24-17.

if UF holds LSU to 17 fricking points i'd be totally shocked.

Grantham will add enough heat and we are outmatched against UF's speed on the edge. That should be enough to cause problems and keep the game close. I don't think either team gets separation until the 4th.
Aranda will get the upper hand this time vs Mullen and Trask will struggle but I expect a busted play or two works in UF's favor. Losing Flott at CB hurts because Vincent looked good when moving to safety.
Turnovers like always are the 'x' factor and barring an advantage there, LSU wins by 10-13.

I predicted that we would trounce Miami last season because Rosier stunk and they won based on turnovers the previous season.
I also warned last season that UF was going to give us fits and that A&M was a much closer threat than we realized when others said we would blow them out. I just look at positional match ups and scheme and you can usually tell which ones don't work in your favor.
