re: LSU taking a graduate transfer - what is the situation there? - CBBDawg316
Wouldn't LSU be able to take King regardless of him being a "graduate" or not since he used a standard redshirt last year? Not like he played the entire year and then transferred using the grad transfer model. Or does the fact he graduated move him under the terms of that rule?...

re: Something is going on that we aren't seeing - CBBDawg316
To me, Thomas and Swift were the only safe bets in my book. I assumed Wilson would stay and switch to LT in 2020. Solly wasn’t expected to go though I know he’s been on campus for what, 4 years now. Think he’ll be a Nauta or Thompson and be more of an afterthought in the draft unfortunately. I was b...

re: Something is going on that we aren't seeing - CBBDawg316
It's just concerning that essentially all of the question marks on offense have seemingly jumped ship, either for the portal or the draft. While the defensive side, essentially all of the question marks are staying. Could be something...could be nothing....

re: Revealing post game interview of where things are with Zachary Evans - CBBDawg316
Maybe he did, maybe he didn’t. DawgNation says he told them no. So who knows. “Evans delayed his college announcement plans once again. When asked if he had signed a letter of intent, Evans said he could not answer that just yet. After the game, Evans did say that he had not sent in the letter o...

re: 2020 Recruiting Thread (SVP and Broderick Jones stay committed to the G) - CBBDawg316
It’s all too much to keep up with. The article elsewhere says he stated he didn’t send one in, but to @AllDawgCks point he says I can’t reveal that just yet when asked if he sent an LOI in. So after watching the video, I’m more confused than reading the article. Cause how do you state you did se...

re: Revealing post game interview of where things are with Zachary Evans - CBBDawg316
Lol what he said was... 1. Y’all all thought I sent in a LOI, but I didn’t. 2. I can’t tell you who it is. 3. I’m only talking to one school. 4. I can’t tell you who it is 5. I found out last night I couldn’t announce 6. I talked to Kirby a couple days ago That sums it up. As Biggie ...

DawgNation is reporting Evans said he didn’t send in his LOI. But then gives conflicting statements about his communication with college programs. Originally say he can’t reveal who’s he’s been talking to, then goes on to say he watched the Sugar Bowl and talked to Kirby a few days ago. Saga con...

WRs are a necessity... - CBBDawg316
Seeing sunshine struggle against solid competition and unable to generate any offense shows what happens when you have no outside threat. Higgins and Ross are out and Buckeyes shutting down the run game. Glad we’re getting some dudes on the outside...hope we use em....

re: so maybe there should be a rule that if Okie loses 3 playoff gamea in a row - CBBDawg316
Lol okay. The committee, and the old system, base it off of rationale that doesn’t involve head to head competition. Whether by vote or happenstance, it always plays out. Whether it’s we’re in the SEC championship because we play in the East; clemsons in because the acc is down; Boomers are in becau...

Could say the same for us and the SEC championship game. But we don’t want to use that same logic for ourselves lol. Anyone that met LSU was going to run into a buzzsaw. All anyone could hope for was the extra break would break up their rythm....it didn’t. Good luck to the next team up......

re: Rushing Touchdowns - CBBDawg316
Kmac had a long one vs. Arky State as well. I steadfastly believe and said it often that perimeter blocking was as much of a loss as the downfield and catching production. We took for granted how much pride Godwin, Mecole, Nauta, Ridley, and Holloman took in blocking. There were a few opportunit...

re: Kirby helped setup this WR haul at SECC post game presser. - CBBDawg316
Yeah, those numbers in a QB friendly system. Id rather just take the lumps and give the experience to a freshman where it would actually be of value to us beyond this year. It’s a tough call but Gus was gutsy enough to do at Auburn. Not doubting his athleticism and ability, just liking big pictu...

re: Kirby helped setup this WR haul at SECC post game presser. - CBBDawg316
These 1 year rent a QB situations just rarely workout. I remember when Oregon and Chip Kelly made a living off of that. But he brought in athletes that ran a similar offense at their prior school. 1. I don’t think Jake leaves. 2. To think King could come in and learn the offense to run it effi...
