Yes, that is such a major accomplishment! Congratulations! Roughly equivalent to your football team winning the Weedwhacker Bowl.

Wow, thanks. A dawg really stated this.... certainly not most of us. Though Bama was ahead down the stretch, I wasn't surprised. Michigan's defense had Bama's number all night and our center wasn't helping.

Speaking of 'screw one team' when UGA and the Vols meet for our annual prison raping of the Vols this season, will it finally convince you that Tenny is unworthy to even be in the same conversation about the playoffs with teams like Bama and UGA and you will FINALLY stop with your constant attacking of UGA? Gees dude, you chime in and attack every thread and post about UGA.

If tOSU had a reliable kicker who made a career long 50 yarder, AND UGA's kicker STILL missed his kicks, you would have been tied for 4th place that season.

FTFY

But none of that matters now. You lost to us in BBall, the only solution is silence and a paper bag

Good grief, nothing lasts forever. How can you be so confident that the past is a perfect predictor of the future? These things go in cycles, so there has to be an inflection point sometime. Are you betting your house that this isn't the year?

Yes, OSU was less talented than UGA in 22. Place kickers count on the roster....kicking FGs is part of the game. It is a well established fact, testified ad nauseum by buck eye fans, that IF Ohio State had been as deep and talented as UGA they would have beat UGA. That is acceptable. Ohio State just wasn't deep enough or talented enough for 4 quarters to beat UGA. The same is true of Alabama in 2021. Both fan bases have said this time and time again...its not a UGA idea, it is a Bama / OSU idea. It is part of the game. The same is true of UGA in the 21 SECCG and the 23 SECCG...simply not as deep or talented when they played Alabama for 4 quarters. It is part of the game.

there is strong competition, but I think he has the #1 seed in the Macon regional locked up.

Dawg math:

No sec championship + no cfp + no invite to march madness ( that takes 68 teams) to compete for the nattie.

Not sure Georgia would have won it but they certainly would have made for a better title game versus Michigan.

Not if they had to get by Bama again.

And FWIW, the only actual national championship conspiracy was with Notre Dame and Michigan state vs Alabama in 1966, nothing will ever match that.

There surely is no comparison between the two fanbases, that's for sure!

Very true. One has been winning titles for 100 years, and the other is Georgia.

That was so weird. Kirby outsmarted himself there. Play after play Georgia chose to basically play 10 v 11 on defense.

Still don't think that was the reason they lost. The Georgia OLine getting blown up on 5 different short yardage plays for negative yards and having to punt was very surprising to me. Also their needing 4 tries to score their last TD from the 1 yard line (forcing a crucial time out from Kirby late in the game) was the final nail.
