So what you are saying is that this is just another example of the oppressed being targeted and they just got lucky with the lack of insurance.

Got ya. Im sure no Soccer Moms ever get pulled over.

So you are Ok with DUI? There are a lot of dead people that would argue with you on that one. If they had the chance

How else does booze or weed get from where it’s purchased to someone’s home? Keeping in mind that weed is illegal in our state so he shouldn’t have it.

He did wrong, he will be punished but he wasn’t DUI or they would’ve charged him..

You are missing the point. The guy was smoking weed, drinking Henessy while driving around at 1am. Just because he was not at a legal limit then, that does not mean he would not have been intoxicated in 20 more mins of drinking while he drove around. He had a open container.

Legal limit or not, that is a big deal.

If he was legally intoxicated, he would have been charged for it. He wasn’t. I’m not missing the point, he’s a knucklehead and deserves punishment for what he did, not for what he didn’t do.

We don’t know what his BAC was, if it was noted then I missed it. How do we even know he registered anything? Could’ve been headed home to get shithammered.

Young people do stupid shite, hopefully this helps him stop doing stupid shite because it is likely that he will suffer much worse if he doesn’t. And like you said someone else could get hurt next time.

Georgia fans have been pretty candid that some alcohol and weed while driving aren't a big deal.

1. He himself said he smoked it, obviously right before they got in the car/while in the car because the police officer said he smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.

2. There is an opened bottle of alcohol in their vehicle.

3. They are basically on drugs and drinking under the legal age while in possession of a firearm in the early morning.

4. He has an invalid driver's license.

5. He's in a vehicle that's not his.

If this were my son I'd be so utterly disappointed and frustrated. Not because he drinks or gets high, but because he did it and then got behind the wheel of a car. Even if he wasn't illegally intoxicated, he might have been there shortly thereafter.

If you guys are cool with your son driving around drinking, smoking weed and being in possession of a firearm nearby (we all know this is a great combination you know, drugs, alcohol and firearms) while driving on an invalid license in a car they don't even own you guys ought not reproduce.

It's football, you guys don't have to make excuses for a kid doing some dumb shite just because he's playing for your team.

frick, man. What's a little DUI among friends?

Lulz... After all of the excuse making all summer long for UF debacles, this is what we've come to. I suppose it should be expected...

I am easily one of the harshest critics of off-field antics, if not the harshest of the Florida Gators.

I don't buy kids will be kids.

Georgia fans are perfectly fine with it, though. Are you okay with this?

I am not being self righteous. You made the comment that weed and booze was no big deal. It is a very big deal regardless of who did it and what fricking team they are on.

You have constantly tried to make light of what this guy was doing and tried to defend him based on the fact that he was being racially profiled. Im sure YOU would have been just as lenient had the kid played for Tennessee. Right?

I am white and have been pulled over before late at night and the officer said I was "swerving". Was I being racially profiled?

Stop trying to use race for every fricking thing. The guy said why he pulled I'm over and it is a legit reason. Then once the guys jumped out, it made them more suspicious. Then, no license, no insurance, open container and weed. It sounds like the instincts of the officer were right.

Guy did his fricking job and you want to chastise him for it over some damn football player. When he gets high/drunk and kills someone you know, dont start blaming the police

When? Have even been reading anything I posted?

So why exactly did the LEO start to follow them? Because they had a dealer tag? Then he stated "he thought" they were trying to hide an expirex tag by moving over to the middle Lane. Guess what? The tag wasn't expired.THEN he proceeds to call in the tag for insurance.

Are you really trying to tell me LEO's are out there calling in tags looking for valid insurance? Really?

So the driver wasn't speeding. No brake lights out.No improper lane change.NO EXPIRED tag.No proof that he didn't have insurance.

quote:

Stop trying to use race for every fricking thing.

What the frick are you talking about? When have I ever posted using race? You are amazingly delerious.

Someonr asked you if a Soccer Mom gets pulled over under similar circumstances and you tried to conflate the issue by saying "Yea,soccer Mom's never get pulled over" Geez, that's your freakin response?Sorry,no way in Hell she gets pulled over or even followed under similar
circumstances and frankly I've never heard of someone getting pulled over regarding insurance without the LEO having a ALPR on board.

Sorry, this doesn't happen at any number of SEC campuses including AU and Athens/Clarke Co has a history of doing
this with UGA AA athletes.

Kirby must be using discount code 'saban' to get all these chargers. I know the NCAA and FBI are looking into it. I even saw Marty Smith sniffin' around Butts-Mehre the other day.
