So why exactly did the LEO start to follow them? Because they had a dealer tag? Then he stated "he thought" they were trying to hide an expirex tag by moving over to the middle Lane. Guess what? The tag wasn't expired.THEN he proceeds to call in the tag for insurance.
Are you really trying to tell me LEO's are out there calling in tags looking for valid insurance? Really?
You must be new to the world...

Hopefully this is not the general sentiment of GA fans and just a few message board dolts.
If anything, it seems like the officer made a judgement call and actually let this guy off pretty easy.
Personally, I hope Kirby makes this kid run stadiums until he is puking out of both ends.

What’s delusional about what I’ve said? I’m speaking in the facts of the case, and my personal stance that having alcohol in the car (not drinking it, just merely possessing it) is not unusual or criminal.

they also didnt get charged for having drug residue and guns. Vast majority of people are getting more charges here.

First off I thought I was replying to RD, so apologies for the MontyG comparison
You are not really speaking facts of the case since we dont know all of them. you are just guessing with UGA blinders on.

My teenage self would tell you that that shite can linger. My friends cars all smelt like burnt pot literally all the time, not just when they were high.
Residue charges would depend on how much residue they actually found.
Also pretty sure I read somewhere that the gun was registered and legal.

Link to where he got a ticket for an expired tag?The LEO involved stated that he was looking for an expiration date on the tag and it was the primary reason he was following the car.So are you saying he let them slide on an expired tag after stating it was the reason he was following them in the 1st place? Why on Earth would he do that?

Geez,I'm talking about BEFORE pulling someone over WITHOUT an ALPR in the car.
So are you really telling me LEO's are out
there routinely calling in random tags for
insurance without any other reasons for pulling people ovet? Don't ya think it would be a MASSIVE waste of time?
Once again, this is BEFORE pulling people over
for other offenses and WITHOUT an ALPR on board.I deal with LE agencies and know several LEO's and never heard of this as a
routine that they followed if at all.
Capech?

Oh and I'm sure you're just objectively analyzing the story and have NO agenda at all regarding this case. Nah,not in your interest at all to think the very worst of UGA and their athletes.
