Good DC. Terrible HC. Staying at Bama until Saban retires.

Fantastic DC but apparently is a bit rough around the edges to work with. Likes to blitz (far more than kirby from what I've seen) and is GREAT at halftime adjustments. I loved his time here.

He blitzes like a motherfricker. Which may spell bad news for Stidham.

He would make an excellent HC.

Snake Oil salesman. bullshite artist. Hot temper. Not as smart as he thinks he is. Not HC material. Good DC, decent recruiter.

He likes to dabble his diddle in the young ladies. More importantly, most of his good numbers at UGA were put up against lesser competition.

I'll stick up for him here. The only lady he diddled was at FSU and he ended up marrying her.

Did you ever diddle your wife prior to the wedding ceremony?

I like Pruitt, but like others have said, he blitzes a shite ton. I've noticed Alabama has been way more susceptible to screens than when Kirby was here. It's not just this year either. Last year's defense got fooled at times with it.

All in all, he's a really solid DC still. But he's never going to credit here with Saban at the helm.

Ok...

We didn't really play a whole lot of oustanding teams during those 2 years, we played bama who is obviously dominant and far better than us top to bottom so no shame in that loss. So what else are you considering good competitoin?

In his firs year here (new players, new scheme, new terminology...):

-Held top 20 clemson to 21
-Shut out ranked missouri on the road
-Held #9 ranked auburn to 7
-Held a ranked petrino louisville ot 14

Second year we didn't really even play that many quality opponents, and our offense was one of the worst I've seen which didn't do him any favors. With that said, he gave up an average of 13ppg over our last 7 games.

Did he have some stinkers? Hell yes he did. But to essentially say he only looked good against the vandys of the world simply isn't true at all.
