Huh? Have you heard him speak? He makes Gomer Pyle sound like Tony Robbin’s.

I dont understand the love this guy gets from everyone. He has been a HC for a little over 2 seasons and is 16-12. He has gone 7-6 each season as the HC.

In his 7th year as a head coach, Napier has 5 top 25 wins.

In his 3rd year, Golesh has back to back top 25 wins after taking over a 1-win USF team.

Yeah, Napier is not the answer at Florida.

I have a feeling Boise and Florida had no business in the top 25.

I do give him credit for turning it around from 1 win.

Will be interesting what would happen with Kiffin. He really has made Oxford home and gotten his family back together there. Know he was appreciative of how much the community was there for him with the death of his parents. That said, Florida can be an enticing job. His family seems happy in Oxford, Florida would have to offer him a lot more money to leave, don't think he'd leave for similar pay and I think we'd match to a certain price.

Zero chance on Lanning. He shot down bama, he's not leaving for Florida.

I agree on Kiffin. I thought Auburn was gonna get him after Harsin. And it was close from what we know.

I wasn't buying the story about how much he had settled in and loved Oxford and all that. But, he stayed and when I watched his appearance on Theo Von's podcast, he really did sound like a man who was settled and actually content. If hes being honest, and I think he was, he has reflected on the mistakes he made earlier in his career and finally saw that football and his attitude towards the work had destroyed his family. He just couldnt see it while it was happening, but has adjusted his life and learned some lessons. I think he has made the necessary changes in his life to where he is finally happy with his work/life balance. And it seems to be working for him. Im happy for anyone who can truly enjoy their work and family without neglecting either.

So, you're probably right. It will take a very specific job and a boatload of guaranteed money for him to leave Oxford. Especially in the next few years while his kids are still there with him.

Call me crazy, but I would go with a coach who has a losing record as both a college and NFL coach. Give me Kliff Kingsbury! He has coached Heisman winners, and the Gators are in desperate need of a fun offense. His Texas ties could also keep Lagway from jumping ship. His current boss, Dan Quinn, was at Florida and could give him the advice needed to navigate the toxic Florida fan base and boosters. Seriously, why is any other candidate a better choice?

Seriously, what would it take to pull Lanning from the Ducks? He has everything he should want and need. Just an offer from Florida would make him the highest-paid coach in football. I would cost UF 20 million for Napier and another 20 million to Oregon for starters, then you have to pay the coach. Lanning would need 100 million plus for 8 years and Nike-type money to build the roster.

If LSU goes 9-3 and misses the playoffs will Kelly be back with LSU? I think so since many LSU fans say we will put up with that kind of record. Also his buyout is too much to fire him.

Missouri should have Bonnie Blue as your mascot. Also known as the worlds best dick riders.

No question. The stars seem to align at Florida with a flashy offensive attack led by a charismatic and controversial HC. Florida is a unique fan base and recruiting territory that doesn’t have the generational loyalty other SEC programs have. It needs a certain energy to get fans, boosters, and recruits aligned.

Uh, he took a program that had went 4-29 the previous three years before he got there, and went to two straight bowls., then this year he beats two ranked teams right out the gate one being the University of Florida from the SEC on the road for USF's first win ever against them and also an SEC opponent.
