Wow that is a bit eye opening. I still say Muschamp is the better coach. He just needs to evaluate how he hires and supervises offensive coaches and then change everything about it.

Zook finished 23-15. Muschamp could easily go 25-14. Hadn't put it into that perspective before.

Damn.

Zook was a stepping stone, they have a little more self interest in Muschamp, he will get at least another year, minimum

Yep. I mean, I love our defense but good god, our offense needs something else.

Pease is not the answer. If Muschamp can't see that, then he's not the answer either.

I mean, did you all see Kelvin Taylor's drive? It was great! What happened after that? He really didn't touch the ball again.

That has more to do with Pease than Muschamp.

Of course 2001 SOS finished 10-2, #3. 2010 Urban finished 8-5 and had pretty much bailed the year before. Boom had a bigger hill to climb.

Spurrier left a loaded roster, just the opposite for Chomp.

Very interesting...for some reason in my head Zook did a lot worse. Good thread.

It really is surprising. I would have thought that Pease would be a great hire.

Did Zook ever win 11 games and get to a BCS game?

No.

I thought he (Pease) was a homerun hire...but apparently not.

UF should've won the East that year with that loaded of a roster.

Inexplicably losing @ Ole Miss, then just crapping the bed at home vs. LSU, not to mention getting blown off the field by Miami, and finishing the season getting stomped by FSU.

That was a 10-11 win team if Spurrier stayed.
