yeah I suppose that I could have added to the OP that Zook didn't make it through a season without losing to a MS school. It would have gone against the slant of the post.

Zook was a stepping stone, they have a little more self interest in Muschamp, he will get at least another year, minimum

I still think Boom is a solid coach. He just needs to find the right OC.

Solid coaches don't hire Brent Pease to begin with... His resume prior to UF was meh. Muschamp and Florida have stood by and let the offensive revolution in college pass them by. This is a program that's known for innovative offenses... It's a shame

Zook had more to work with, but at the same time Muschamp has been there long enough to have figured out SOME kind of offense. It doesn't have to be world shattering with that defense of his, but dang if it alone isn't simply ruining any hope Florida has.

In each game that they lost big, once they were down by a significant margin, the defense is probably going to give up. Honestly, the defense is probably thinking if they get down by double digits, the game is practically over unless they can score on special teams or defense.

It's FLORIDA. Surely you've recruited a core to build a power running game, or a spread offense, or a freaking option or something. Anything.

People forget that firing Zook after the embarrassing loss to MSU was made really easy because of his run in with the frat boys earlier in the season.

Boom's latest embarrassing loss to MO doesn't have a similar tie in to another incident.

Pease and the OL coach must go.

Someone mentioned that it was dumb to hire Pease. Well, at the time, Bama was looking at him too and hindsight is 20/20. Next someone will tell me it was dumb to hire Charlie Weis.

I can't remember one negative thing about the Pease hire, at the time.

I thought it was a good hire at the time too. It sure seems to have been a mistake.

I saw an article on our recruiting for offense from Meyer's last year to now.

The amount of talent that was either kicked off the team, transferred or under performing is amazing. I was shocked at the raw numbers.

Add to that, for two years in a row, from 2010 to 2011 (I think those were the years) we ended up with 2 OL in each class. This would have been fine if the 5 OL in the previous class panned out. They didn't or they left for various reasons.

I don't think Boom can dig himself out of this hole before getting fired. Weis fricked him too and that hurt a lot.

A lot of bad luck for Muschamp. He'll get it turned around, if given the time. UF fires him they may go into a Bama/UT run of dead coaches walking.

Maybe, but Foley has been good about stopping the bleeding.

Spurrier to Zook
Zook to Meyer
Meyer to Mushchamp
Muschamp to ?

Every other hire has been good for Foley so far.

I have an awesome solution for UF. He's a great coach, he just needed more time.

I agree. Boom firing Pease this year would go a long way, if he does it.

No matter the situation, to have a comparable record as the Zooker is not flattering. Boom better get it going next year.

When you remove your tongue from your sister's mouth I hope you bite it clean off while loading up your next triple can of dip. What you just wished on us is pure evil Cromp. Pure evil.

Hire Phillip Montgomery (Baylor) as OC, pay him 7 digits.

I want the guy from Fresno State.

I saw a highlight where he ran a hook and ladder that I hadn't seen before.

QB pass to WR 7 yards to the left
WR catches and pitches to LT further left
LT rumbles in about 12 yards for the TD untouched.

That is some creative stuff right there. I'm not sure if it was a desperation move or not because they didn't show the game score or time left but I had to rewind it to make sure I saw what I saw.

They are scoring tons of points too. He's my guy.

Yeah, probably. Baylor's Total O since 2010 finished #13, #2, #1 and is currently #2.
