frick UCF and their pathetic schedule...we all could be undefeated playing that shitty of a schedule....its smoke and mirrors. They beat AU because AU didn't want to be there and that happens all the time in bowl games.

We are not Tulane or East Carolina. Why play them in that rented high school venue? Screw that. They are a commuter school and a nitwit can gain entrance.

Memo to moment of truth, what bowl game are you playing in ? Need to worry about your pigs and stop worrying about Florida so damn much. Go back to chasing your cousin around that singlewide.

UCF should have studied schools like TCU, Louisville, etc ... They would schedule whoever they needed to in order to gain recognition

Umm it's a double wide... And if Florida wasn't so scared why are they deflecting from OP and bringing up a 2 win team that they couldn't beat last time we matched up - during our worst time in program history??

Yeah I'm in agreement Florida had a very fair proposal on the table. UCF should of been smart and grabbed it. I disagree about the bowl game though. I hope UCF smokes Lsu, they need to be humbled some more and the melts would be awesome.

Exactly. Why would anyone agree to go play at the city park field that UCF plays at? At that stadium I guess a home and home with the frisbee golf team would be appropriate, but not for a division 1 football game. Sorry ladies

horseshite move by Florida. UCF can't do that b/c then everyone else will demand it. Stop being chickenshit trying to gain an advantage and give them a neutral site or home and home.

LSU should fricking do it.

Not a horseshite move - UCF is not in a position to be demanding home and home with a name school such as FL

we’re open to a home-and-home series with any non-conference Power 6 opponent.

Honestly, I didn't care what happened until he tried to slip in the "Power 6" bit. Now I hope nobody in a P5 conference schedules them, they go undefeated against terrible competition for 10 years and never once come close to sniffing a CFP slot.

He knows good and damn well no P5 legit school is gonna give them a straight up home and home.

Currently they are in the middle of a 2 & 2 w/UNC. They finish home and homes with both Pitt and Stanford next year. They have future home and homes with Louisville and Georgia Tech. In recent years they have had homes and homes with Texas, Miami, Missouri, NC State, Maryland, and Boston College. They also had a home and home with Penn State but moved their home game to Ireland.

So yeah... no legit P5 teams are willing to do home and homes with them.

I guess none of them are legit P5 schools?

And yet they've managed to get home and homes with UNC, Georgia Tech, Louisville, NC State, Missouri, Texas, Stanford, Boston College, Miami, Penn State, Maryland, Pitt....

You are an idiot.

I mean this literally. You probably don't know what 'leverage' means and you probably have lost any negotiation you have ever had the misfortune to participate in.

UCF wants a seat at the big boy table?

Then they need to earn their stripes. They can't cry about things then make demands. They have no leverage and will be the joke of college football if they continue this foolishness.

Either put up or shut up. Don't talk shite then when a legitimate offer is placed, back away like a loud mouth coward.

Remember how Boise would play Va Tech in Landover, Ole Miss in Atlanta, and Georgia in Atlanta? They weren't pussies like UCF

Boise State and South Florida both played games in Arkansas in the early 2000's. UCF getting a home game against Florida even if it's a 2:1 deal is a great opportunity. That's crazy if they don't jump all over that.

Most of those schools are looking for validation as well. Florida agreed to play, 2 for 1. A win over FL would give UCF way more validation than any of those scheduled teams.

Also, will fill seats at their crap stadium

All I know is, they have 2 top 10 finishes in the last 7 years, 3 if they win this next game, and LSU has none over that span.

A&M used to be like UCF years ago. Crush their SWC schedule, then inevitably lose against the only teams that provided a remote challenge. It's why RC's bowl record was so terrible

UCF has to play more than one decent team in a year for validation. Easy to be T10 when your schedule is pathetic.

So... since I am getting down votes for listing P5 teams they have had or will have home and homes with I guess that means UNC, Georgia Tech, Louisville, NC State, Missouri, Texas, Stanford, Boston College, Miami, Penn State, Maryland, and Pitt don't count as legit P5 schools?

Guess UCF doesn't need Florida then. And Florida certainly doesn't need them either. Problem solved
