What is Florida so scared of? It's not like the Swamp is some glorious place either. I mean Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators should have no problem going to UCF to shut them up. Instead we will play this scenario and never have an answer. UCF has won more than Florida and have played big enough teams. Florida just wants that 7 point home advantage. Sad.

The fact that you bring up the size of their stadium as an excuse to demand a 2 for 1 instead of a home and home shows just how weak sauce y'all are. Knowing Florida you would try and schedule it during the height of hurricane season and then cancel if there is a slight wind and a light rain the Monday before the game.

The Gators and the Knights last played in 2006. UF won 42-0 in Gainesville en route to winning a national championship.
The schools were scheduled to play again in 2007, but the Knights were released from their obligation, according to a document obtained through a public-records request.
Instead of playing at UF on Sept. 1, UCF played a road game against NC State on Sept. 1 before opening its new on-campus stadium with a game against Texas.
The document stated the schools instead would schedule a game at some point during the 2012-15 seasons. Handwritten notes on the document dated 2012 stated UCF associate athletics director David Hansen indicated the Knights preferred to pay UF $100,000 in lieu of scheduling a game at the Swamp.

I was just messing around until Gary started getting his Jorts in a bunch. I do feel like this is a control thing over UCF (Not just Florida) and I don't understand why not neutral or home and home. UCF is far different than most teams and it would be great for both programs. Make it happen Florida baws!
