To be fair, K-State and Iowa St whip their arse on the regular, so for them this is considered a tough schedule.

Now let us “big 12” it

1) Kent St
2) Colorado
3) New Mexico
4) Arkansas Insert Kansas
5) Miss St Insert Kansas state
6) **ALABAMA Insert TCU
7) Mizzou Insert texas technology
8) South Carolina Insert Oklahoma State
9) Auburn Insert Baylor
10) Ole Miss Insert. texas
11) Prairie View
12) LSU Insert Iowa State

Oh my that is why the big 12 is the weakest conference

You’re right, they would. It would be like OU playing Texas 10 times in one season but tougher.

Even with that schedule, Oklahoma would lose at least 3 games.

Alabama
LSU

One of the following:
Ole Miss
Arkansas
Auburn

Probably plus another head scratcher like South Carolina

It is not the top teams in the sec the Big 12 teams have to worry about, its the middle teams too. Take Miss State. If you are just a little bit soft or thin anywhere, that 5 loss SEC team can whip your arse...

Here is another secret about the SEC. When Ole Miss is out of the run for the SEC championship, they will play harder to makes to screw the SEC team that is in the running.

I see four losses in this schedule. Not sure what you're looking at.

These troll threads aren’t even well thought out arguments. I suspect these sip and OU posters don’t even care.

They are just happy for the attention. They’ll gladly accept getting punched in the face everyday and call themselves popular…

I didn’t want to write a novel. Point is that not everyone in the SEC has an unmanageable schedule. Some years are tougher than others.

OU fans have heard over and over again how when we join we will have all these tough games and not be an upper tier team. I hear some say we’ll
get demolished. Of course, some teams will have a tougher schedule depending on the year. This has nothing to do with OU’s schedule because we know the Big 12 is not as tough in regards to the two or three upper tier teams. Two this year.

Here’s an example of one schedule

TexasA&M schedule 2021:

1) Kent St
2) Colorado
3) New Mexico
4) Arkansas
5) Miss St
6) **ALABAMA
7) Mizzou
8) South Carolina
9) Auburn
10) Ole Miss
11) Prairie View
12) LSU

Awesome.

Now do Auburn's, tell us how you feel playing theirs.

Basically nobody has said this about Oklahoma. You guys have a serious case of shoulder chip.

How about our 2019 Schedule?

At the time of the game played we faced
#1 Clemson
#1 Alabama
#1 Lsu
#4 Georgia
#8 Auburn
#25 Okie St

Kind of forgot that you guys barely beat Oklahoma State.

I don’t say that to trash A&M. I point it out because everyone here just assumed teams like Oklahoma State are a gimme win.

SEC has some good if not the best coaches money can buy but lets look at the Jimmie's and the Joe's on the field using 247 team talent comparison and forget about any coaching differences.

LINK /

10 SEC in top 25
2 from the Big 12 - I let you guess which two

2 more SEC schools in the next 5 with TCU getting in there at number 28. You still think these conference schedules compare? I say you have no clue what you are about to experience.

It should be fun to watch playout because OU does have a talented team. This could sharpen the team so they won't get beaten so easily in the playoffs.

Three teams on that schedule are tougher than anything OU has played in the regular season since Ohio State walked in to Norman and whipped Baker Mayfield

I guess we didn’t walk into Columbus and whip Ohio State the following year?

1-4) OOC

5) Arkansas (West Virginia)
6) Miss State (Texas Tech)
7) Alabama (Texas)
8) Missouri (TCU)
9) South Carolina (Baylor)
10) Auburn (Kansas State)
11) Ole Miss (Oklahoma State)
12) LSU (Iowa State)

I think the Big 12 would match up pretty well with this list.. obviously Texas loses to Alabama.. but the other 7 games are pretty much a toss up imo. I think all 8 games would be pretty solid games to watch..

Texas vs Alabama
Iowa State vs LSU
The Leach Battle
Battle of the Hillbillies
OSU vs Ole Miss (no defense allowed)
TCU vs Missouri
Kansas State vs Auburn
Baylor vs South Carolina

Wow if you are going to be the typical OU fan coming to this board then you guys are in trouble. Brings up the one Sec school with probably the weakest schedule of all the SEC teams this year. I was then going to say you have a point then i saw OU's Schedule this year

A&M could probably run the table on that schedule.
