3. Nutria are a neusance but are relatively tasty and armadillos carry leprosy. nutria by a nearly tooth
4. No state income tax for sure, but you pay more sales and property tax.
However, I cannot Claim Louisiana does anything with our tax money better than texas does with theirs. So Texas wins this one.
5. Gumbo forever. Pork BBQ > Texas BBQ

Fun fact, the north shore of New Orleans was once it’s in republic (very briefly) and their flag was a blue flag with a single white central star.

Correct. It was 1810 and was the first "lone star" flag in the country. It flew for 3 months before these parishes were annexed as part of the La Purchase transaction years earlier. The same design was reprised later by the Confederate States of America and it's now more widely known as the Bonnie Blue.
Louisiana was also it's own sovereign nation (for two months) after seceding from the Union and before joining the Confederacy. This was the flag:

5.Gumbo wins because it can be seafood or chicken Andouille. That picture is not like any Gumbo I've ever seen looks more like shrimp stew!

Agreed. I don't want to live in a world where I have to choose either breakfast tacos or beignets, and either brisket or gumbo. I want them all!
