They should have done that earlier at the height of Bama's dominance. Kind of striking out on the downside of the gold rush.
This. They should have done this 10 years ago. Bama fans wouldn't be able to cash those SSI and disability checks fast enough.

I forget that most SEC towns have a large black population.

didn't see a mention of a sportsbook which I found surprising.
Have you been to Alabama? The baptists won’t even let us have a lottery.
The new taco mac in pelham cant even have Brewniversity bc of Alabama alcohol laws and people think it's getting a sports book

Somewhere the lead investor in this project was crying watching Alabama football the last two weeks.

The voters passed medical cannabis 2 or 3 years ago, and the State has been dragging its feet almost off. It’ll be another 3 or 4 years until full implementation. This is one backwards arse state when it comes to shite like that.

Is this satire? Why would you want to go on vacation in Tuscaloosa?

Who in the world thinks Tuscaloosa is the ultimate experience in college sports?

Don't most Alabama fans/alums live within an hour or so of Tuscaloosa? Birmingham is kinda right nearby, gonna be hard to get a ton folks to stay in a resort hotel when home is an hour away.

Pretty sure you have never tried to get a hotel room on a game weekend there.

I remember having a sports illustrated subscription as a kid and the issue came out with the painted on bikinis.
Snached that outta the mailbox real quick and hid it under my mattress

Joke is on them. Bama will be a regular 9-3 team by then.

Building this now is like Elon Musk buying Twitter right before the tech speculation market dried up due to Fed Reserve interest rate hikes. Nick Saban looks old and busted, may retire by the end of this season, and non-alumni fan interest likely to decrease a fair bit.

Biloxi was supposed to get one of those 2 years ago. Still empty field. Hope it pans out. Tuscaloosa needs something.

Not really. We got plenty of luxury condos and hotels. You know how they’re luxury? They cost more.
