I'm not justifying anything. I'm not saying this happened because of what one poster said on a message board. What I'm saying is that it's hard to believe posters here like to make light of these terrible situations.

He was wrong to make light of that and yall are wrong to justify/make light/bring up or whatever it is yall are doing in this thread. There's no hypocrisy. He was wrong, you're wrong.

Just saw shooting was in retaliation to a shooting in Northport at "Indian Lakes Subdivision" No excuse to put innocent lives at risk!!!

I know what you're trying to say, but no one is making light of this situation. I was just pointing out that it is sad posters here like to poke fun at these things, especially when innocent lives are lost.

For the record, this is what the results of randomly shooting into a crowd would be like. Not randomly firing into a crowd would be, two dead on the scene, shot multiple times, that sort of thing...

The house that they taped off is the very first house going into Indian Lake subdivision. My Aunt lives in that neighborhood and she has called the Northport Police on numerous occasions because they would be throwing big parties and have the entrance nearly blocked entirely. My parents live about 2 miles from that house and I have passed by it on the way to visit them and there is about 10 crotch rocket motorcycles parked in the garage and they have a full bar setup in there. It's definitely a sketchy house and I'm interested to know exactly what went down to cause all of this stuff.
Also, one of the guys at work was just telling me that he always goes to Copper Top on Monday nights for a pool tournament that he does with a buddy but that last night the girl he is seeing wanted to come over and watch a movie with him so he didn't go.
