Ahh remind us again how many national titles your self-proclaimed number 1 baseball program in the SEC has. I’ll hang up and listen.

That doesn't sound like a very memorable program, then.

Because we’re in a thread where OM fans are concerned about our choice of turf around home plate.. Surely you’d inquire about actual baseball while you’re at it?

Maybe not, but I’d take State’s history over UM’s

So history only matters in baseball?

Turf is trashy. It's not surprising to see it at a place like Vandy where they don't take athletics seriously. But, MSU? Come on, you guys are supposed to be part of baseball lore.

I expect turf at Vandy and church league softball, but not at a place like MSU.

Few keep up with college baseball here so they don't really understand what's going on. We have always had an excellent drainage system at Dudy Noble so we could play games that would otherwise get rained out at most facilities. Good news/bad news. We got to play games but the high traffic areas took a beating. The turf helps with that a lot.

There’s a difference in keeping up with college baseball and obsessing over the drainage systems at other teams’ ballparks, which is serial killer shite. Plus, it’s funnnier to call it bush league.

When did Miss State install turf in the batters box? Kind of bush league IMO

Actually, more teams are moving to this approach.

And, all MSU teams play on State developed and 'patented' Bermuda grass .. as does the Rose Bowl, Chase (DBacks), Petco (Padres), Kaufman (Royals)..

Just change your famous OM baseball tradition to

"THROW IT IN THE TURF...........TURF"

Are we not talking about baseball right now?
In actual history I wouldn’t want all the white robes, burning crosses, nooses hanging all over campus, etc. to be what my school was remembered for, tbh.

Another idiot "LSU baseball fan." Little does he realize LSU put turf on the warning tracks and foul areas a few years ago.

The warning track in fair territory is dirt. LSU only has turf in foul territory.

ITT, a fan of a team that celebrates their Co-Western Division championship with a banner in their football stadium tries to pretend like 18 combined conference and tournament championships don't make for a great baseball history.

And we do not have the #1 program in the SEC.

Dudy Noble is the nicest college stadium in America. If you disagree, you’re either a homer or an idiot.

Probably would be nicer with like 6 or more CWS Championship banners.

It’s a little overrated tbh.

No junkyard outfield?
No cowbells?

Sounds like msu caved to all of the liberals that wanted to do away with tradition.

Make up your mind. They were once trashy and redneck and now you defend them and trash their banishment. You are a piece of work, I tell you.

How many people lost an eye due to those Rebel Flags?
