I am a turf proponent, I used to cringe when it was installed.
My boy plays ball and turf fields make things so easy. The only problem is the crappy high bounce on infield bloops, basically assures the runner beats out the throw. But no bad hops, no field maint, no worries about yesterdays rain and clean uniforms make it great.
