I was talking to my mom tonight. She flat out said that she didn't realize it until recently, but she got to grow up in the best place and time ever. The 1950s and 1960s.

I grew up in a small Louisiana town in the 90s. It wasn’t as good as the 50s and 60s but it was pretty close. Insanely safe compared to today, very religious, traditional and parents disciplined their kids.

All the shite wrong with the world and you dumb boomers are worried about cokes.

Obesity is a very serious problem and tax dollars shouldn’t be spent on items that cause more health issues that leads to more money spent by taxpayers on medical bills. SNAP should be in place to help you survive not supplement your income and keep you comfortable. You can address multiple problems at the same time.
Our society is was great but it only works with a moral society and we no longer have that. Even the leaders are mostly self serving garbage. You have to start punishing people with the maximum the law will allow from the top down and then maybe things will change.
It’s really close considering they are like 13-15% of the population.

Racism is nothing more than self preservation spoken out loud.

I don’t preach it out loud but I don’t ignore the patterns I recognize and that’s built in for self preservation. It’s insane to me that people ignore those instincts. I think men have it more than women because she doesn’t notice anything.

You have no idea who is flying the plane.

Fair point but smaller private planes seem to crash way more than commercial airlines. I wouldn’t think that it’s commercial pilots flying those planes but I could be wrong. Again I don’t know anything but in my uneducated opinion it’s caused by poor maintenance and less experienced pilots.

Good, smart and moral citizens need to start running for public office at every level. We have the technology to hold them accountable with our tax dollars. Criminals need to face heavy consequences for violent offenses. Get that implemented then start working on infrastructure and implementing shop class in every high school.

Yep. Growing up in a subdivision I remember going play with all my friends down the street, and I remember all the mamas were home tending to the house wearing their robes. When we did run across a family with a career mom, it kind of struck us as odd.

That’s really the ideal situation for children. Spending all day with the most precious thing in your life that you created or go work for a corporation that will fire you in a heartbeat while you pay someone 16 dollars an hour to raise your child.

This is a wake up call to America

The left will celebrate him. Our society is broken and Trump exposed it. It’s really not about him, it’s about people who remember what peak America was.

Hell. I was in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl this year and the Marriott slipped a “Resort Fee” in my bill. Didn’t tell me until check out either. NOLA ain’t Vegas.

I’m pretty sure every major city does that now.

Mainieri wasn’t dealing with the Wild West transfer era. Kids actually stayed and developed back then. Not all of them, obviously, but way more than you have now.

I don’t know anything about recruiting but I do know before the transfer rules were changed it seemed like LSU utilized jr college transfers a lot. Even in the Skip era.

He definitely gets a pass. He won two championships in 3 years.
There are outliers but they almost always look exactly like I think the do.

Raspail is wrong. We need more retarded third worlders to fully become the shining beacon on the hill.

We not only let them in but “elected” them in positions of power. We are fricked.

I had a London Fog brown leather jacket when I was probably 8 or 9. I didn’t know anything about the brand.

Young people have always wanted to have fun. Why do you have to spoil it for them.

Sounds like it is past time for some vigilante groups to start paying these assholes a visit.

Liberal communist judges will give you a life sentence. Unfortunately there’s no way of bringing America back to her former glory without a horrible bloody civil war.

Why don't presidents fight the war? They always send the poor

A lot of them have before they became president. Also we have had a voluntary military since Vietnam.

Never understood why college players refuse to catch fly balls with 2 hands

I never understood the point of using two hands to catch a fly ball. I guess if you have a poor fitting glove.

Perhaps that counterprogramming is because high achievement in higher education is out of reach. When LSU is 169th nationally in the U.S. News & World Report rankings, its sports might as well shoot for No. 1 in the attention.

If the basketball team operates in the black I don’t see how that hurts LSU’s academics. Having really successful football and basketball teams increases enrollment and donations and I would assume helps the university but I never worked in that sector.
