There's rumors they're heading to the pac 12. Would it make any sense (practical/financial) to consider a return to the SEC ( if wanted)? Im a Tulane alumni from an LSU family and love both schools. I'd appreciate this esteemed board's opinion.

There's your second mistake.

The first was attending Tulane.

Nooo we saw what bringing shitty programs to the SEC means last night.

Less competitive games, crappy fields, unsportsmanlike play with random fall downs.

Why would we want to add another OU/Texas caliber program like Tulane?

I come in peace with grace and forgiveness, as Mother taught me.

Tulane offers nothing the SEC needs.

Only make sense because Tulane was an original SEC member.

But in the current college football landscape, rejoining the SEC makes as much sense as y'all joining the PAC-12 -- none. There is no new media market and opposing fans already fly into NOLA when visiting LSU. So, you don't bring anything to the table.

I'd likely welcome Georgia Tech back before Tulane.

Old Tulane Stadium, on campus, seated 80,000 and was the site of many Sugar Bowls, Super Bowls, SEC games and was full of tradition. Today, Tulane's stadium seats 30,000 and is more suited to a Sun Belt membership.

Tulane made a huge mistake when it left the SEC in 1966. Vandy stayed and has reaped the benefits in revenue and in some sports. I see no reason to let Tulane back in.

I'm not crazy about further expansion anyway. But if it does happen somewhere down the line, Power 4 schools will get first consideration.

I think you have to agree that our defense is very good. (Not saying to the level of Georgia by anyone’s estimate but pretty darn good.)

Our offense is the worst we have had since the 1990’s. I say that not because they got dominated last night but because they were barely adequate in their gimme games. If that is not rectified this year, it will be shortly.

If Venables can maintain the level of defense, I would be really worried to play OU in the next year or two.

From a revenue stand point Tulane makes zero sense in the SEC.

From an entertainment stand point, let them in

Tennessee fans definitely don't act like they've been there before. Good Lord.
